I don't know about you guys but my brain was muddled with all the possible ways this plot could go in this notoriously unpredictable show.
Shivika
Freshly and thoroughly annoyed with his "Thank You" in response to her intensely romantic "I Love you" , Annika is stewing in irritation and snapping at Shivaay, like a disgruntled wife😆 .. The man can't even meet her eyes!! 🤣 It's hilarious to see him squirm nervously as she reminds him of his Thank you over and over.. biting the words and chewing it .. so cute.. wondering why it's taking so long to just say it already. Don't wait too long Shivaay, things have a way of happening around you guys...
Despite his discomfort he still worries about her in a dark room, he goes to get the lights for her, stops the cupboard with the secret from "falling on her" literally (and figuratively?) ..
Dadi and Shakti
The old envelope has some documents that were supposed to have been burned and destroyed. But a copy remained hidden in a folder marked as Shivaay's. Some kind of "papers" that has a secret Shakti thinks the family will find out someday. Dadi doesn't want it out now, not when happiness has just stepped back into the house. Seems to me like it's an old secret that they don't want the Obros to know.
(The way they almost made Annika find it, makes us suspect that it may be related to her past. But it could also be related to Shivaay's birth, something made Dadi slap her (Pinky) and exchange a look with her that day. )
Pinky
Pinky is determined in her bones that with Annika's entry into Oberoi Mansion, in came with her some kind of comeuppance for the Oberois. She keeps calling her musibat and manhoos, like someone who's a reminder of karma or something. I can be totally wrong. Like I said, IB is notoriously unpredictable .
Annika's arrival changed Shivaay. He was arrogant , strong, untouchable, almost touching the sky with success. She's changed him into a loving family man, who stops to smell the roses and be happy also. But Pinky only measured success in terms of riches, not happiness.
Annika may be Oberois' salvation, the one who clears all the misdeeds of the past. Who knows. But Annika brought change to the house, changed Shivaay and with him, the whole house.
What's puzzling is, why does she want to be a part of wedding preparations? shivaay minced no words, " I don't trust you. Once you get a chance , you will try to separate me and Annika again. Why should I give you the chance to?"
God knows what Pinky is up to... but to me things are not as they seem. Need more info.
Svetlana-Tej
I dunno why Svetlana keeps looking at the idol and clinching her ornate key, when she had no idea this idol was coming to the mansion now. It's either a distraction to keep Tej and Oberois busy while she gets something else she wants.
We only saw her blackmail Tej with documents that she has, whatever she wants to do I think Dadi and Shakti and Tej will stop it. Whether or not Obros will find out is the issue... I have no idea. Made Pappu so many times.
Om and Gauri
They went to get the Shiv-Parvati idol that is the heirloom of the family and faced a lot of difficulties. But they succeeded and returned jubilant and more closer. Their return scene was as though a sign of their role as protectors of the family. I don't know the significance well, but some symbolism was depicted there.
Miscellaneous stuff
As with Annika and Bhavya lighting diyas and preparing for this Pooja. Anyone else getting vibes that Shivaay may threaten to leave house with Annika . People predicted test of fire in Shivika's story, Annika just went through hers, is it now Shivaay's turn?
That too with the convenient delaying of Shivaay's declaration of his love for Annika...
