Deepika lobbies w/ Shoojit for his next w/ Varun DT N Pg 9

EVEN as Varun Dhawan is set to star in ace director Shoojit Sircar's next film, October', the big story is who the heroine is. We hear Deepika Padukone has approached Sircar, and is keen to work with him on this film. The film is a rom-com and will clearly have Dhawan pulling off his famous hijinks, while Padukone will not have the meaty parts that she is used to. But she considers Piku' to be one of the finest films she has done, and wants another film with Sircar. The filmmaker is clearly in an enviable spot, since Padukone is so busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, she's barely reading other scripts. Top that with the fact that the sequel to Vin Diesel's xXx' has been announced, and no one's mentioned Padukone's name yet. Since the first one was a forgettable blip on her career graph, she may as well bask in the sunshine of her homeland.

What about veeru and biru have they been rendered useless ????

No don't want her in this film

After Sapna Didi,I think DP may work in a Shoojit Sircar film.I hope he ropes in Fawad Khan.I hope Shoojit makes it happen.

It always amazes me how the the tread maker manages to come post about DP's rumored roles. I don't see the same love for other actresses and their PR articles, wonder why?

Also didn't the XXX's director state DP would definitely be in the sequel?

Shoojit loves Deepika more than he loves anybody else 😃 So if this movie does not work out then he will write another script for her. Piku is his best best film.

I would think most likely he would offer it to Deepika after Piku's success. I wouldn't be surprised if the role actually does in fact end up going to her, no matter how big or small the role might be.

No please.. I want Varun with younger actress or even shraddha, Pari, aalu , disha will do but not deepu... She will look like his big sister.
But I don't think she is in it, she will be offered n thn she will reject it..
