Dont think this would be possible the film will start in few weeks and deepika is clearly busy with Padmavati had she been able to squeeze out some time she wouldve done that for ALR and SRK who wanted her in the dwarf film.

Also the feeling is mutual shoojit has said this before too that he wants to work with Deepika again, and he recently said he has been thinking of something. It could be something else.

I just dont think this is the project though. coz the article states it ain't a meaty role and I dont think DP is looking for projects like that.

All his movies have been amazing and Vicky certainly brought him to the line light. But Piku is considered his best by the industry and himself.
