Why Salman Khan give Besharam opening?Why Tubelight flopped?

Why Tubelight flopped?What are the reasons?

1 The weather was not conducive to it's release.

2 Salman did not lift any skirt from his mouth.

3 Salman did not make any foot in mouth comments or controversial comment

4 Who is going to watch Salman film with the expensice ticket prices?

5 Tubelight was an art film,a niche film.

6 No one turned up to see a man child with consitpated expressions.

7 Missing aayp paayo dance by Sonam Kapoor.

1. Bajrangi hangover. It seems like India Pakistan story was more appealing than India China story and too much to digest

2. Bad songs. I think 50% of success is songs. Hindi medium was a hit but no one is talking about songs. They are great. Here radio, tinka were all crap

3. Sohail Khan. His Pinocchio swollen nose with a heavy structure put off many watching the ads. I mean ad are there for reason to appeal..not putoff

4. Law of averages. Salman has been giving many hits so it was due

5. Kabir Khan. He is not a good director.

6. Salman acting as challenged and childish. Such role expose ur age more than lets say acting as 40 year virgin played by SRK in chennai express

7. Name tubelight did not click

8. Hippo did not get kick out of it

Kabir Khan is to blame. He compromised with the script, and when you do that it never works it out, be it any superstar with you.

Audience is not what it was some years back.

He should have casted someone else not Salman. That role wasn't for Salman. He was too old for it and then to balance it out, Kabir made him act childishly, which required someone of high calibre.

Salman is a decent actor and can only shine in Dabang type of characters and that's how everyone likes him too. Hence, it's the fans of him trashing the movie.

The movie is nice but Salman and Sohail ruins it for you.

actually Lande Lapade and Rickshaw walla dont expect acting with Salman they use to massala film magar kitna masalla ab tu bhai kay masala bhi khattam ab sirf tiger zinda hai tu bhai zinda hain warna tu Govina time shuru

TL flopped as Bahubali dangal are still in our eyes..
not just TL every other film which will be not as grand as
Bahubali n dangal will flop from now..
once expectations rise no one accepts anything less than
something as grand as Bahubali or dangal..ppl who feels
inspired n feels they can get away with weak scripts needs to
either get serious abt their job or risk getting bankrupt in future..
banking on star power alone without script power will always be
suicidal...

Tubelight had many similarities with Bajrangi Bhaijaan
But the plot was weak and it has no special factor
Sohail was bad here and Zhu Zhu role was very less
People expected something extraordinary from Kabir Khan
But there was nothing extraordinary about the film
