The worst stereotyping was in Chennai express with Deepika and her accent. But I guess people didn't care and Deepika's role in that movie got a lot of appreciation. Maybe they're hoping for a similar response to Anushka in this movie.

That mini trailer...😆. He's mumbling something in Punjabi there at the end..I could just make out a few words! There is such an infectious vibe to this movie! 😃

They stereotype us Bongs too a LOT in movies and TV serials
Make Bong ladies wear saris in outdated style, which very few women wear nowadays

They make Bong character speak Hindi with heavy Bangla accent, like Haam yeh Korta Haye,😆
They show Bongs as very stiff and formal, that they dont know how to dance at parties etc
Punjabis are always shown as loud and rambunctious

i m agree with Pallavi. kabhi kabhi toh lagta hai pata nahi films dekh k sab kya sochte honge bengalis k baarein mein? I feel like watching the films really? kaunsi Bengali woman pehnti hai aise drape kar k Saree? ha? uske upar gol lal bindi.and they represent us in such a way lagta hai hum abhi tak 70s k jamane mein hai aur baaki Duniya aage nikal chuki hai
