<Chapter 27>

It was a beautiful day. The day had dawned several hours before, but still they were sleeping interwined in each others arms. The pleasure of being united by soul was evident from both their faces, as they were sleeping in so much peace. He had held her to his chest and was sleeping when she woke up. Gauri got reminded of his expert ministrations the night before, and her cheeks turned pink. She saw his face and he was sleeping with a peaceful smile. She wanted to caress the face but wondered if he will wake up. Realization stuck her that she had to gather her dresses first. She was able to find essentials but she couldn't find her dresses. She looked around to find what she could reach first, she could manage to pull out his shirt which was hanging on the frame of the bed. She pulled it out and was quickly trying to cover herself up and move away to the shower before he wakes up. She sneaked out of the blanket and got out of the bed. She heard a voice..

"Gauri.. kahan jaa rahi ho It was his teasing voice. He woke up already??

Gauri was startled and was not knowing how to face him. She didn't turn towards him being unable to face him and she was standing on the other side of the bed. He opened his eyes to see his wife covered only in his shirt which was anyways hanging till almost her knees. He smiled at her wearing the shirt, symbolism of how she became his. He moved towards the end of bed and pulled her hand. She fell on him.

"Gauri.. Gauri.. He hugged her close and smelled her.. She was not knowing how to face his eyes and turned her face half towards his side. "Hmm.. Her cheeks were already red.

"It was so special for me..Jaanu.. Thank you so much.. His voice was again in a huskier sensual tone and his lips were playing against her earlobes..

"Aap humhe thankyou kyun keh rahe hai.. She didn't know what else to say and stopped with that..

"Gauri..bolo naa.. did you like it..?.. he was eager to know her reply and was still playing with her earlobes. She closed her eyes.

"Humhe chodiye na.. nahana hai.. She tried to escape from this sweet torture but he was not ready to leave her.

"MMhmm.. no.. tum mera sawal ki jawab do

"chodiye na.. Omkaaraji

"Nahi chodunga.. jab tak tum kuch keh nahi deti..

"Kya chahiye aapko

"I want to know ki meri biwi ko pasand thi ki nahi..

"aapko nahi pata chala She knew he knows the truth but still is teasing her.

"Pata hai.. tumhaari aa..oo.. se.. He tried to imitate her moans..

She turned beetroot red. "Chi.. chodiye humhe..

"Nahi.. batao abhi..

"aapko to pata hai na.. mujhse kyun pooch rahe hai, phir

"Mujhe tumhaari moo se sunna hai

She knew he will not leave her until she said something.. "Main meri nahi thi.. aapki thi.. her words had so many meanings hidden. She was not hers yesterday, she was his. She was completely taken and he had his way on her, throughout.

Omkaara was totally surprised by the meanings of her words.

"Gauri.. he tried to turn her face and see it fully. She was blushing with all the pinkiness in her cheeks.

He couldn't control himself and pulled her for a kiss. She lost herself in that kiss and it took some time. She was lying on his chest. "humhe jaane dijiye..naa. nahana hai

"Gauri.. wo.. he stammered to ask something.. He knew he had been a little hard on her sometime last night..

"Kya hai.. Omkaaraji

"Tumhe dard to nahi ho raha na.. He was guilty if he had hurt her.

She pulled out and stood near the bed.. She looked at him.. "Nahi.. and ran to the shower.

After lunch, they arrived at the room. Gauri was feeling a little tired after the all-night ordeal but didn't show him much since he seemed to be in an excited state. She thought they might go out like they did yesterday. It was a pleasant windy day and the clouds were dark like it was about to rain. The view was so magnificient from their suite. She went near the windows to close it half shut while he hugged her from back.

"Aaj mausam kitni ache hain naa.

"Yeah.. its very pleasant like its going to rain He was cuddling near her neck.

"hum bahar nahi jaa rahein aaj

"Nahi.. mujhe kahin nahi jaana hai.. bas tumhaari paas rehna hai.. saare din.. he was tickling her waist..

"aap na.. kuch nahi ho saktha aapka.. she turned back and smiled at him..

"Tum mujhe pyaar karthi ho naa.. Phir kya tum meri paas nahi rehna chahthi? He was teasing her in a playful tone.

Her face became serious all of sudden.

"Jab se humhaari shaadi Bareilly mein hua hai, aapki paas hi to rehna cha rahi thi. Par 3 baar aapse door hoke zindagi mein itna saara taqleef seh chuki hoon.. aur bhi sehne ki takat nahi hai mujhme.. Gauri felt emotional and her voice was heavy with overwhelming emotions..

Omkaara hugged her in a hurried manner.

"Gauri.. kya hogaya.. main sirf mazaak kar raha tha.. am very sorry.. Jaanu.. please. He was feeling guilty as if he had teased her much.

Gauri's inner turmoil came out all together, she burst into tears in his chest. He never saw her crying this much, he was scared. Why is she crying? Was she not ready and he forced her into yesterday?? But she said she loved him.. He was confused a lot..

After sometime, he made her sit on the couch and gave her water. They both were lying in the recliner couch and gauri was lying on his chest and he wrapped his arms around her.

"Gauri.. his voice was very soft.

"Hmm.. Her voice was still not ok

"Kya hua Gauri.. tumhe kuch pareshaani hai.. please mujhe bolo na.. kya hogaya tumhe? His voice was genuinely worried.

"Aap mujhe kabhi nahi chodoge naa? Aage ki zindagi mein?

Omkaara was shocked. What is she talking? He raised her face.

"Yeh kya sawaal kar rahe ho.. Baroosa nahi hai kya mujhpe? Tumhe lagta hai main tumhe dobara chodoonga? His face was reflecting slight anger

"Please gussa mat ho Omkaaraji, jawab do mujhe.. nahi chodenge naa? She again pressed her face in his chest.

"Jab tak mera saas hai, tab tak nahi chodoonga.. yeh wada hai tumhaari omkaara ka. Teek hai? He said it straight to her eyes. "Ab mujhe batao, yeh faltoo sawal tumhaari mann mein aaya kaise?

"Main bahut seh chuki hoon.. aap ke bina.. Mujhe pata hai, kin haalaton mein humhaari shaadi hui thi, aap mujhe nahi apnayenge.. Par phir bhi, tab se meri mann mein, aap ki saath poore zindagi jeene ki khwaish thi. Main aap par zabardasthi ye rishtha nahi thopna chahthi thi, par har din aap ke liye prarthna karthi rahi sankar ji se, ki veh aapko har khushi de.. Jab mein chulbul banke aayi, mujhe sach mein pata nahi tha.. ki wo aapki ghar hai. Jab aapko dekhi thi, mujhe jhatka sa laga patha hai.. Main aapke saath bahut kareeb rahi, chulbul banke, phir bhi nahi keh sakthi thi main hi aapki gauri hoon.. Jab bhi aap humhe gale lagate the, humhaari maan mein khushi aur dukh ek saath aati thi. Khushi ki main aapki baahon mein hoon, dukh iss baat ki aapko pata hi nahi hain, ki main hoon. Main sankar jee se ladayi bhi karti thi, ki mujhe nahi padna hai aapki moh main. Par kya karti.. Chulbul banke hi sahi, aap ki saath rehne ki mauka nahi khona chahthi thi. Agar Kaali wapas nahi aata, main aisa hi rehne ki mann banayi thi. Jab aap Kaali ki haveli aaye chulbul ko wapas lene ke liye, bahar aapse nafrat bhari baatein kar to rahi thi, par meri andar zor se awaaz thi.. ki "Omkaaraji, humhe le jao.. humhe chodke mat jao. Jab aap humhe kaali ki haat chod kar jaa rahe the.. main poori tharah se toot chuki thi Omkaaraji.. she was shedding silent tears.

"Gauri.. please his voice was broken in pain. She raised her head only to find his caramel eyes covered in tears. She held him tight and continued "Aap humhe contract shaadi karke wapas lekar aaye na.. tab aapki nafrat se zyaada gussa dikha humhe.. ki maine aapko dhoka de diya.. phir bhi sultana ko dikhane ke liye, jab bhi aap humhaari kareeb aate the, main apni aap ko sambhalne ki bahut koshish kar rahi thi. Mujhe pata hai wo sab naatak tha, phir bhi meri maan mein bahut khushi hoti thi. Mujhe pata tha.. kahin na kahin aapki mann mein humhaare liye bhavnayein hain.. Par phir humhe aapko chodkar jaana pada.. Wo 9 mahine meri zindagi ki bahut dukh bhari din tha.. apni aatma samman ki wajah se, alag to hogayi.. par phir bhi meri dil mein jo pyaar thi aapkeliye wo kaise chupa kar rak sakthi main. Jab bhi aapko dekhne ki mann karthi hai, wo Om ki wallhanging dekh kar baiti rahi.. Jab meri maa guzar gayi, bahut akeli hogayi. Pata hai, kitni baar aapko phone lagake call jaane ki pehle kaat lethi.. Gauri was going on.. This is the first time, he is getting to hear the full story of what had happened in her life ever since they met. The selfless love which was burnt to ashes by this judgemental, temperamental attitude was beyond pure for him to realize. She had to endure all of these, only because of him. Yet she loved him unconditionally. There is no one in this world who can be so blessed like him. His heart was brimming with mix of emotions, shame, guilt, happiness, ecstacy, love, gratitude, agony and pure bliss.

He held her so tight that even air can't pass between them. She went on

"Jab aap aaye the, aur humhaari baat hui.. meri mann mein gussa se zyaada dar thi.. ki dobara aapse jude hokar alag hona pade, main nahi jee paungi.. issliye main mana kar rahi thi.. Jab bhi rishabh sir ki baat pe aap gussa karthe the, mujhe hasi aarahi thi. ki aapko pata hi nahi hai ki main aapse kitni pyaar karti hoon.. Meri zindagi mein kisise pyaar hui hai, wo aap hi the, aap hi hai.. aur aap hi rahenge.. She cupped his face in her palm.. "aapse koi aur itna pyaar nahi kar sakthe hai, jaise main karti hoon She finished with a satisfactory smile. Satisfaction of bearing her heart. Satisfaction of finally having let out the burden inside. Omkaara was moved beyond words. She is infact right, no one .. No One in this world can love him like she does. He was so emotional that words refused to come out of his mouth. All he could was to hug her tight and to reassure her, that she meant the world to him.

While he was feeling so emotional and heavy, she was feeling so light and happy. She finally had her Omkaara. The Omkaara whom she was yearning to spend her life with. She took his face and kissed on forehead. The physical intimacy they had, helped her by great deal to come out of her shy self. He was still in an emotional state and all he could say was "Jaanu, I love you

She smiled and kissed on his cheeks. He was in no mood to take over. He was so emotionally numbed by the narration of the purest form of lov, by her, a little while ago. She was going on without any hesitation while he was in a surrendered state. She went on to kiss his another cheek and wiped his tears. She ran her fingers through his hair and pushed him back and leaned on him. He generally gets hurried up when she does this, and takes over. Now his lying still gave her so much of freedom to do what she wanted. She went on and kissed his lips. He closed his eyes giving in while she was having his control. He held her close since he wanted to feel the assurance too, that she is with him finally. She slid her hand through his waist and over his body, on the shirt. She was still not comfortable undressing him. If he was in his normal self, he would have led her on this, now he was lying still leaving her to have her way on him. She knew that he was little emotional after her heavy narration and wanted to pull him out of that state. She decided to tease him out of it.
