As I'm reading this story... I'm trying to remember if I have read it before and now I'm 100% sure I've missed out on such an awesome story. I don't remember crying reading something like this and that is exactly what I'm doing right now. This was powerful. I was totally engrossed in it and I just realized how badly it hurt me and I started crying. You have done an amazing job 😭 👏

"Phir se? Omkaara made a frustrated face. "Teek hai, kal

The next day, it was a long drive that too in the night. It
was a full moon night and the moon light was seeping in through the moon shade
of the car. It was a pleasant windy night and Gauri's mind eased out on this
pleasant long drive. Omkaara was in his own passionate shaayari smiling self. She
saw him taling and smiling and was wondering afterall what is this emotional
cocktail made off?. One moment he erupts in volcanic anger, another moment he
displays unsatiable thirst for her presence, he bursts out in frustration with
red eyes and another moment he is bringing her flowers as a gentleman gesture.
She has gotten into soup, she thought. Hey sankarji.. akhir ye aadmi hai ya
paheli? Isko kya kab chaltha ab tak mujhe pata nahi. Regarding this resort
thing she was confused on what was coming. Her biggest problem is to resist him
when he goes into unsatiable mode. She can easily push him away and throw guilt
at him easily. But that would make the situation tougher. Either he will go
into volcanic mode or unrelenting guilt. Gauri was emotionally drained. She
wanted to be at peace of mind without all this behes and drama. Omkaara was
talking something general and was inbetween seeing Gauri. She was sitting
thoughtful.

"Hey Gauri..

"Hmm

"Kya soch rahi ho

"Kuch nahi.. Bas yu hi

"Dar lag raha hai, tumhe?

"Mujhe kyun dar lage ga?

"Yahi soch rahi naa.. ki main iss pagal aadmi ko akele kaise
jheloon 2 din?

Gauri looked at him with a surprised expression. She didn't
exactly think about this, but indeed she thought only on the same lines.

"Sahi hain na. mera guess

"Nahi nahi.. aisa nahi hai

They arrived at the resort around 2am. Their suite looked
magnificient. It was a beautiful sea view with French windows. The sea was
looking splendid in the night. Gauri was looking at the dcor in the room. She
has never seen such an intricately designed artistic place. Omkaara went to
change and came back. Gauri pulled her night suit out and came back after
changing. She was combing her hair when she saw him walking towards her from
the back. She was standing like a statue infront of the mirror. He came close
and wrapped his arms around her. He rested his face in her shoulder and was
seeing her in the mirror. Gauri expected this. Now she should find all the ways
to resist him.

"Tum yahi soch rahi ho na.. ki mujhse door kaise bhagna
hain?

Again, he found out. Gauri turned her head sideways in
astonishement. Omkaara looked into her eyes.

"Main tumhe bahut pareshaan kar raha hoon na?

He found out this also..? Gauri eyes widened more. How is he
reading her mind so aptly?

"Ek baat sach sach bataogi?

"Kya hain

"Kya tum sach main iss shaadi ko dobaara mauka dena chahthi
ho? His eyes have their own power when they look deep into her coupled with
this intense voice.

"Haan

"Gauri.. I love you.. He buried his head in her shoulders..

She was still standing like a statue. Omkaara took her hand
and pressed it against her cheek. "Tum pressurized feel kar rahi ho naa? I am
very sorry ki main tumhe pressurized feel kararaha hoon. You know Gauri.. main
actually aisa nahi hoon. Sirf tumhaare saath aisa kar raha hoon. Tum mere saath
hi reh rahi ho.. par actually tum mere saath nahi ho. Shaayad issi baat mujhe
zyada disturb kar rahi hai..

I know ki main tumse keh raha tha.. ghar aapke jitna bhi
time leni hai le lo.. But you know what Gauri, jab bhi tum mujhe ignore karti
ho na.. it pains a lot His grip tightened more.

"Tumhe bhi aisa hi painful lag rahi hogi naa jab main tumse
bahut buri tarah treat kar raha tha.. Mujhe thappad maro Gauri.. Please.. jitna
bhi gussa hai.. nikaal do.. Par aise silent treatment mat do.. I can't take it.
Jo bhi karna hai karo.. Par mujhe meri purani Gauri lauta do.. Mujhe mera best
friend lauta do. Jab bhi main pareshaan tha, kuch na kuch kehke mujhe hasaathi
ho na.. Kya sab bhool chuki ho tum?

"Par aapne hi to kaha.. ki Chulbul mar gaya aapkeliye?
Immense pain reflected in her voice..

"Please aisa mat kaho.. Gauri.. Main ek duffer tha.. Bolte
waqt I didn't realize that all these words are going to kill our lives
together. Please main poori dil se maafi maang raha hoon.. Meri Gauri mujhse
lauta do..

"Jis Gauri ko aap Kaali ke haath chodkar aaya, uss Gauri ki
baat kar rahe aap?

Omkaara was stunned. He was a monster to have left his own
wife in the hands of a third rated individual. What would have she felt when he
left her in Kaali's arms and went off from that place, knowing what all might
happen to her. He might have been under the perception that she is
characterless, but from her pov, when she was a victim there, how dejected she
would have felt when her own husband turned monster instead of savior.. This
one word was equivalent to a 1000 slaps..

Omkaara just moved out of her like he touched a flaming
fire. He didn't deserve her afterall. His blind judgemental nature could have
ended up a biggest disaster of her life, had she not eloped from her wedding
with Kaali. For her, he was another Kaali taakur who didn't care about her
self-respect. Only a subtle difference.. The Khoon bari maang..

Gauri was not knowing what happened to him. She didn't shout
nor she told any hateful words. She just spoke the words from her heart. He who
was sticking with her and trying to bury his face in her small nape of the neck
moved out of her as if he touched fire. He turned towards other side and his
body was stiff. What had happened to him suddenly..? Gauri touched his hand, he
removed her hand gently. He was the one speaking so much all this time, pouring
out his heart, pleading her, feeling her smell.. 

"Omkaara ji.. aap ko kya hua?

His voice was broken down totally..

"Kuch nahi.. Gauri.. Please tum so jao

Gauri was even more startled at this broken down voice. She
never saw tears in his eyes. Gauri went around and stood infront of him. His
head was facing down. She tried to lift his face and she was shocked. His face
was pink with shame and his eyes were red and teary.. She definitely couldn't
see him like that.

"Omkaara.. First time she dropped the ji. She tried to pull
his face closer.

Omkaara broke down completely at the genuinely concerned
voice of hers.. He knelt down and buried his head in her waist. Gauri was
puzzled. What had happened to him suddenly. She held his head and and was
trying to console him when he was crying his heart out.

After a few minutes, he calmed down. 

She lifted his face. That look from his deep brown choclate
orb eyes melted something inside her. 

"Omkaara ji.. mujhe maaf kijiye.. aapko dukh pahunchane ki
iraada nahi humhe.. She was genuinely worried.

"I know, tum bahut sweet ho.. Par jo bhi tumne kaha wo sach
hain na.. Main tumhe deserve hi nahi karta Gauri. I don't know karne ki waqt
mujhe pata nahi tha.. ki consequences itni gehri hogi.. Par ab main rewind
karke soch raha hoon.. I feel ashamed.. Tum koi aur ache insaan deserve karte
ho jo tumhe saare khush, maan samman sab de sake.. Main tumhaari pyaar ki layak
nahi hoon..

Gauri was seeing him in astonishment. He was the one who was
mad possessive at her when just talked over phone to Rishabh. Now he wants her
to seek someone else?

"Aapko kya main khilona lagti hoon..Zid karke apne saath
rakh diya aur nahi chaha to doosron ke saath bat diya.. Haan maanti hoon
humhaare beech haalat ki wajah se bahut kharaabi hogayi.. Isme zyaada taqleef
mujhe hua.. Par main zaroor dobara kosish karna chahthi hoon. Iss ristha ko
banaye rakhne mein.. Aapne bhi aap ki maa ki shaadi banaye rakhne ki koshish
kiya.. Waise hi main bhi meri poori koshish karoongi. Haan.. dil ki maamle mein
zabardasthi nahi chalegi.. yeh bhi sach hain.. to waqt to lagega hi.. 

Aap yahi chahthe hain naa.. ki main poore haq ki saath aapki
patni banker rahoon.. Agar aisa karthi hoon, to who poore dil se nahi hoga..
sirf ek zabardasthi ki rishtha hi hoga.. Kya yehi chahthe hai aap? Nahi naa..
issliye main keh rahi hoon.. aap zyaada mat sochiye.. aapko apni galti ki
ehsaas hai.. main samajh sakthi hoon wo ehsaas.. Aur jis din aapki pyaar ki
ehsaas bhi hojayegi, uss din aapko yeh sab baatein karne ki zaroorat nahi..
apni aap aajaoongi aapki bahon mein
