agree I don't get the increased Punjabi at all. First I thought it is to appeal to the nri folk but tho in uk Canada (London Toronto) it is made to be majority Punjabi folk there are other Indian nri too.Originally posted by: Angel-likeDevil
That's because Urdu words are widely used in hindi language in real life.. that is why they find their way into BW songs.
I agree with above though, I'm finding more Punjabi these days.. I don't understand it at all.

Hei Mitr, aap ko Urdu bhasha mei dwesh kyoon hain? Sarwa bhasha Bharateeya hi hain. Parantu aap ko ek bhasha me adhik prem lagtaa hei. Yeh moh hei. Is sansaar mei ternaa hain, doobna nahi. Kaam, Krodh, eh sab gun manushya ko aage nahi badne deta hei. In sub gun se mukti paakar, aap ko nishkaam prem ki aur badnaa hoga.Sounds like a dialogue from a mythological show. Everything has its own place and value. If it is dealing with classic, Sanskrit goes well. Intense feel (for break up songs) Urdu fits better. For dance beats, Punjabi. If one is put in other's place, it looks confusing.Having said, I do like fusion. Specially ancient with modern. Sanskrit with English. One that comes in my mind is, Tumi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumi. It was very creative.

So annoying
As for Urdu I don't mind it is an Indian lingo and dialogues are in Hindi anyway

Came across this and now I feel bad for the overload of Botox she did. She was breathtakingly beautiful...
It’s not often that an album quietly slips into your playlist and ends up carving a permanent space in your heart. Saiyaara is that rare gem....
