After Bhavika Sharma-Shakti Arora’s Mounraagam, Abrar Qazi & Priyanshi Yadav’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ DELAYED

Zee TV’s upcoming fiction show Pavitra Rishta has encountered an unexpected delay ahead of its planned launch. The daily soap, which was expected to go on air soon, will no longer premiere as scheduled, causing a shift in the channel’s programming plans.

According to a report by Gossips TV, the postponement happened after the channel reviewed the pilot episode and found it unsatisfactory. Sources indicate that the makers have been asked to discard the existing pilot and rework the overall presentation before moving forward.

Insiders share that the channel wants the show to meet specific creative standards before confirming its release. As a result, production activities related to the launch were paused while the team began working on changes suggested by the network.

Initially, Pavitra Rishta was expected to occupy the 7:30 pm time slot in February. However, the revised schedule now points towards a March 2026 premiere. Despite the delay, work on the show continues, and promotional efforts are likely to restart soon. A new promo is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

The show stars Abrar Qazi in the role of Sanjay and Priyanshi Yadav as Vrinda. With revisions currently underway, the makers are focused on reshaping the project to match the channel’s expectations.
