Its sad he couldn't make it big. He was quite talented in my opinion. He's great doing subtle emotions and is rarely OTT unless the character is written as such like his HNY character.

When 95% lead actors will be star kids , some will find success obviously

Not Varun -Alia. They are bringing money , their movie is selling tickets. So if they get best deals, it is still logically OK.

It is possible that he is secretly putting money in the movie .

By the same logic Ranbir should have never got a film after a disastrous debut like Saawariya. He too like Abhishek followed up with more disasters like Bombay Velvet and Besharam but is still getting films. I hope he too is putting his own money secretly in the films he is doing apart.

Also by the same logic Harshvardhan Kapoor should have never gotten a film after Mirziya. But he is the busiest newcomer.
