Tanya is seated with a few candles in front of her. She recollects time spent with Karan. The candles blow out. Karan is seated in his cell. The song is pictured well. It ends with Tanya crying.
In his cell Karan is very sad that he can't even look at his child to be born yet. Mandira says it's because he has taken somebody else's blame on himself. Mandira says that she has felt Karan even before he could feel himself (before birth). She has given birth to him. She has seen him during his childhood and teens. He is incapable of killing somebody. Karan says he has killed Adithya Gujral. Mandira asks him to say so looking at her. He refuses. Then Mandira ask him, if his so called Maa, hasn't told him that it's impossible to lie when you are staring into somebody's eyes. Then she adds that Tulsi is his step Mother. How…..Karan says Tulsi is his real mother, turns to face Mandira and says that he has killed Adithya and that's because of Mandira. She married him and brought him back in to his life with nandini. She is responsible for him killing Adithya Gujral. Mandira is hurt and requests Karan to withdraw the statement he made in court (confessing to his killing of Gujral). Her men will bail him out. He refuses and says he has killed Gujral. She goes away crying.
Mihir is worried and tensed. Kiran meets him. He is back from Australia as soon he heard the details. Mihir says that he is the oldest in the house and it's his responsibility to take care of the house. Karan met that criteria, protecting the house and its inmates and he just listened. He has cremated a son, and can't do it again. Kiran tries to console him, its fate and there was little Mihir could do. Savitha intervenes and says that nobody asked Karan to kill Adithya Gujral. What more can be expected from Mandira's son. She is a criminal too. Mihir loses his temper and says that Karan is his son too. The family is losing its son and Savitha is worried about facing the society? He says It is said a mother's heart is very soft, but Savitha just disproved it. She is hurt and moves to the drawing room.
Gayathri and Mohini say that it's in the news that Savitha's grand-son is a killer. Savitha says they should not have let Karan (mixed blood) to enter the family. Then they would not have to face the shame. Gayathri is glad that Savitha understood her point. Nandini over hears this conversation between Savitha and Gayathri. Mohini asks Savitha to speak softly or else Nandini will over hear. Savitha says that she is not afraid of anybody. Its because of Nandini that Tulsi killed Ansh and now they are losing their self respect because of Karan. Nandini loses her temper and tells Savitha that she is old in age, but her "soch" is the smallest Nandini has ever seen. Ansh was a womaniser and Savitha thinks about him always. Its Karan who has sacrificed often to strengthen the house. Why can't she recognise him? His sacrificing nature?. The house that is now in the media would never have belonged to them if it was not for Karan. Savitha tries to stop nandini, but Nandini says that she will not listen a word against her husband. Damini and Ganga try to stop them, but Nandini is enraged and argues vehemently for Karan, putting Savitha in her place. She finally says that she is ashamed that Savitha is her dadi-saas.
Nandini narrates her arguments with Savitha and says may be spoke a little too much. Tulsi says she after all told the truth. But they are passing through bad times and the world is pointing fingers at them. How many people can they answer? Nandini says she will stop one and all.
Savitha is toying around with the keys in her house. Mohini eyes it and says its "kaliyug". Imagine a bahu speaking in that tone and language. She continues to say that Nandini is Tulsi's pet and hence nandini has all the powers in the house. Savitha says she is aware of this. She will never forget or forgive Nandini. She will also teach a lesson to Tulsi.
Tulsi meets Karan. She says that everybody misses him at home. He says he wants to hug everybody at home too. Then he enquires about Bhoomi. Tulsi answers that she is a flower which is pining. She neither eats nor plays. But she can atleast cry. Tulsi cant even do that. Karan says that everybody has to die someday or the other and he is proud that he could do something before meeting his end. Tulsi is in tears. Mansingh who over hears this conversation says that the way in which karan has accepted his death is worth praising. He signals a constable to take away Karan. As Karan walks back, Tulsi cries and Mansingh watches her.
Tomorrow: Mohini tells Nandini that Savitha has said that she will take revenge and seek the explanation of whatever Nandini has said. Nandini wants to know why Mohini wants to rub salt on her wounds?
