Well this is a very deep rooted problem and all the 3 parties- dev sona and ishu are all responsible in the shortcomings in the love of dev for sona.
For ishu, there is no relationship supreme than mother son. True sona can never take ishu's place in dev' s heart but there is no need for this becoz sona and ishu have different places in dev's heart. Dev, never seem to gather courage to question his mother even when she is wrong and sona is all OK with always being treated for granted. But the main problem is of CVS who create issues but when those issues are resolved there is no or absolutely negligible character growth in all the leads
