Even I am trying to find Dev's selfless love. Maybe a microscope will help. 😆

Lie because you are scared to stand up for your wife. Give false dreams and hope. They say it is very easy to go from a lower Income bracket to higher one but vice versa is very very painful.

Has Dev not done the same thing. First made Sona feel that she is a mother and then snatched it. Now for her it is almost as if her baby died. 🤢

I am sorry but I could not get the parallel between your story and Dev's choices .Wife and mother have different place in a man's heart and i don't understand the reason for saying Dev doesn't love Sona enough .Loving your mom equally doesn't mean he doesn't love his wife .I am glad Dev still respects and loves the women who took care of him and made him what he is today .I am glad he did not turn his back on his mom during old age and he did not turn out to be another Vicky .

The decision to marry her after knowing her medical condition was not to please his mom .It was only because he loved her and could not let her go .The decision to lie about pregnancy was wrong but again it was to make his wife and mom bond stronger so that his wife gets the love she is yearning for .He was wrong in lying to her about pregnancy but it was for his wife not his mom .Even after everything if his love is not enough then I would say no matter what he does in future he will always be blamed .He cannot abandon his mom to prove his wife is important to him .If that is what is expected of him then I am glad he is not like those men who throw their parents into some old age home

Isn't it strange we always question about Dev's loyalty towards Sona and his love for his wife/mom but never once we ask the same question to Sonakshi. We never expect Sona to stop loving her dad/Bro or love Dev more than her family .The Sona I am seeing now is just worried about her relation with MIL not once I see her give importance to her relationship with Dev and for her husband's feelings .Whether right or wrong Dev took a decision for his wife whereas the wife is just worried about Family and her MIL .I don't see Dev anywhere in the picture .

Being a dog lover and having 10+ street dogs at one point of time I have only one thing to say .Dogs just don't look for food and shelter .They are emotionally attached to their master and if they are separated from their master after certain age they are mentally effected .I would say people should not bring a dog home unless they are 100%sure that they can take care if it .Kids are not responsible enough to understand the responsibility that comes with pets .I would like to appreciate you for finding a alternate home unlike the person I know who dumped the dog somewhere far as they were unable to take care .I was upset for months to know about this incident .

Agree with you. Dev does not love Sona equal to his mother.Sadly Sona the
Mahanta Ki Devi is also ok with it.As long as she get to be with her owner.

My Dog story - I live in an apartment and wanted to stay clear of pets due to society regulations. My Son left the dog ( female) in the hands of his parents ( me and my wife) and happily goes about doing his job ( he loves it too but does not have the time to take care of it). Now, both of us, me and my wife are so attached to it that though we were reluctant to keep it, we still do so as we just cannot abandon the dog. a We fought with the Association and went up to the Animal protection board under the ministry of environment to educate the society that it is a government desire for more people to adopt pets. Today, it is another member of my home and it sleeps with me and my wife. we treat it like a human being, dress it up for taking it for a walk, free to sleep on sofa's, couches, walk around anywhere. In fact, when i go to the US, i come back with a suitcase load of Bacon sticks from petsmart! such is the care that i take for my pet. Moral of the story - if a new member comes to the home, they are an integral part of our lives.

Coming back to KRPKAB - i could feel the pain that Dev was going through for telling lies to Sona. it was bound to happen as we all know. actions spur reactions.. in this case, the whole lie has blown up in his face. Not loving Sona does not arise. Such was the intensity of his expressions that i could see only love for Sona. I could also see Sona being able to understand why Dev lied in the first place. Dev loves sona more than himself,. that is why he wants Ishwari to love Sona more than him. Do you think that Dev will be able to live without Sona? Absolutely Not - guaranteed!

Sona is the 2nd most important woman in this world for him. Sona thanks Ishwari for sharing her son with her

That has always been a problem in this marriage. A man shouldn't compare his mother and wife at all. They have a diffeernt place in his life. And a woman shouldn't think that her mother in law shares her son with her. Because the mother and wife have different places in a man's life. Relationships aren't black and white where you can put them in some pecking order.

As for your example payal, the pet and your child held different places in your life. Again you can't order them. Had your child been able to take care of the pet you would have asked him to do so. It was in the pet's best interest that someone else took care of him

@Red - Honestly I hated that dialogue when Sona said after she felt Sona is pregnant.I was what stupid dialogue .Thanking MIL for sharing her son with her.As if Son is some piece of cake.Sona need to understand wife n mom have diff place in a Man's life.

@Blue - Completely agree with you.

And yes you are right about Dev. Bijoy understands him perfectly well. That is why Dev walked off when Bijoy was saying these things. He could have taken the phone from Sona and reassured Bijoy. But I guess he couldn't lie in front of a person who understands him so well.

@Bold - I posted the same in Tia's thread. It would have take a sec for Dev to take Sona's phone n assure Bijoy he will not leave Sona's hand.If his mother is against Sona.He clearly avoided the situation.Because he know he don't have the guts to stand against his mom.He can mouth big dialogues n promises privately n in four wall of bed room.Outside the bed room he cannot stand by it.His walking off indicated.Again if Ish pops sleeping pill.Again he will pick Ish over Sona. Will blame Sona saying I was blind in love. That I cannot see my mom's wish .Sona as usual will shout at him.Yet she will love him.Sona has allowed Dev to exploit her.

Elders in my family always say - har rishte ki ek maryada hoti hai aur har rishte ko us maryada main rakha jaata hai.

Means every relationship has a boundary and every relationship should be kept within that boundary.

Dev and Ishwari's relationship has no boundaries and taints every other relationship of both of them.

Hence the permanent colossal mess

@Bold - So true.Every relation has boundary.Even my mom say this to me.Agree Dev N Ish relation has no boundary. It destroy all other relation.

Dev love Sona yes I agree , without her his life is empty she has automatically become that pillar of strength for him
now everything Dev does it first has to start with his mother she needs to be the most happy then comes Sona and its good that he loves and respects his mother
now the love he has for his mother can not be measured to the love he has for his wife that on its own already is different levels of love yet Dev fails to understands this
at this stage both Dev and Sona were suppose talk about themselves find solutions but no instead both have dragged Ishwari into their mess making it all about her and her feelings
right now it seems as if there is no respect for the marriage

Sona is wrong thinking only about Ishwari's happiness but then she has been systematically trained to think that her relationships continuation depends upon the goodwill of ishwari.

The way we react depends upon our sub conscious and Sona's sub conscious knows that Dev can easily dump her again if Ishwari pulls up another stunt.

It is not really Ishwari that is so important for Sona, it is Dev.

But why Sona is not ready for letting Dev go if this happens is something even I am not understanding. Why for her, being with Dev has become more important than her self respect, her family?

A love which leaches your sense of self, which makes you live in constant fear off rejection is just not worth it.

@Bold - Very Well Said.Superb Quote 👏👏. Agree With U.This Kind Of Love Is Not Worth It.Also Worth Fighting For It.At The Cost Of Ur Self Respect N Loosing Ur Identity.
