@bold: word, especially after the cancer reveal it just made it worse.. made him seem like such a douche!

have you watched dangal yet?? but there is a scene in dangal (spoiler) where the father and daughter have a wrestling match.. by the end of the scene you end up feeling for the father, the daughter and another daughter who understands her father's emotions in that scene and afterwards.. ADHM rarely evoked so many emotions...

^^ It did. And it made it seem like he was working towards her love as a goal which ruined it for many. Like those boys who claim they're your friends & then wipe away all chances with other boys because they've now professed their love to you & secretly "date" you in their heads. That was Ayaan. He was secretly married to Alizeh in his head & had 3 kids + huge white mansion where they did ringa-ringa-roses with the kids in the morning, and made love to BW songs at night.


I haven't watched it yet but not surprised. I mean Dangal has AAMIR in it & say what you will otherwise. But absolutely no-one can fault him for his acting. He's beyond excellent!!! The young girls have done a commendable job the reviews say.

^^ The boys I saw were all cute & genuinely nice. They weren't faking it like salivating puppies hence I felt bad for them. These girls weren't smart but had a lot of low-cunning & did the whole bimbo act which made me feel bad for the boys. Seeing Alizeh it reminded me of those days where the research/assignments/moot prep was done by these sweet boys & then they were friend-zoned!! Cheee.

Alizeh was annoyingly judgemental though. I've no idea how I thought this movie would be good.

The whole movie is poorly executed. With Fawad controversy and the bachchan fmaily influencing cuts on Ash's portions and poor character building of Alize I think made this move subpar. The story is old but superb material. It's completely ruined.
