Your points are very much valid. In my opinion, jhanvi was a victim herself, and she has been controlled to a great degree by both Ashwin and Maya. There has to be more to the story. As u said earlier, jhanvi is a depressed soul. And somehow I feel both Maya n Ashwin have contributed to this. I'm not justifying jhanvi or saying she did not hv anything to do with maya's present state, but until we know for sure that is just jhanvi being a mere spectator to Ashwin's tortures on maya, we cannot comment, IMO.
We're trying to judge the characters too soon I feel, me included when I spoke abt Maya being a psycho/evil and stuff like that. Courtesy the immense excitement this show is generating with every passing episode. Sure Maya is not a psycho, tho I still believe it's some sort of personality disorder. Then again, we need to watch more to be sure.
That's the reason why I don't despise Jhanvi, she disappoints me a lot but I can't bring myself to not sympathise with her situation as well. See, that's the point if Jhanvi had taken an action back then, Maya wouldn't have been controlling Jhanvi now. Instead, she would have had a very supporting and understand daughter. She's suffering at the hands of both her husband and her daughter because somewhere she allowed them to.
As for the speculations, I don't even think you and I or most of us here are passing any judgements over the characters. If we all keep waiting for each and every detail to unfold, the time and chance to speculate is lost. What's the fun in being told everything when you have the chance to think? 😳 I personally like to speculate, analyse and deduce what interests me. So, if any of my theories doesn't reason with you, please let me know. I'll refrain from sharing my POV. :)
