(I never have and probably never will make a post on this forum again but I had to say this) -
It's so funny, you know the way you guys mock and make fun of Ishwari.

why don't anyone understand that Dev and Ishwari is not like a normal Mother and Son. You me, our brother we all go on school trips, do we cry that we are going away from our mom?

Ishwari has lost her husband at such a small age, you know she has no one to talk to, Dev means the world to her, and the biggest thing is that she is trying.

It's so easy to forget basic things you do with your mother for you wife, but if is a crime to forget basic things you do with your wife for your mother.

Those sisters that were everything to you becomes nothing, if your sister is in so much pain why the hell can't you postpone a bloody honeymoon?

I'm baffled at the way Dev and Sonakshi's flaws are over looked.

Maybe Ishwari's ways are wrong, but that mother needs some special care. You know she has given you your everything. Instead of killing her everyday, making her cry at this age better directly kill her.

I know I will get bashed for this, but I don't care! I had to speak for a mother from whose POV no one thinks of. My heart goes out to her.

😊

I agree with you.. if I was in Dev or Sona's place .. then I would not have planned honeymoon at this time.. going on HM is not wrong but the timing is definitely wrong. I know everyone has a right to live their lives the way they want and when they want. But unfortunately or fortunately we live in a society and we have family beyond husband-wife relationship.. So it would be insensitive to go on HM let alone plane a HM when your sister is sitting at home and is on verge of break up with her husband...mainly due to the reasons that he cant afford a luxurious lifestyle that she wanted..

we can not just ignore the feelings of ppl that are close to us and go on and live our life the way we want...

The only reason forum ppl hate Ishwari is because of her - double standards, emotionally manipulative, dictator in a way, She will do anything to get what she wants. I am sure all these were very powerful tools when she literally had to pull through this family out of poverty and survive the tough times.. but, now she is constantly applying it on Dev.

Also post marriage, she did not try to manipulate sona into staying away from Dev at all...Sona did all the stupidity herself trying to be in the good books of Ishwari- even though she asked her not to do the pooja or vrat or even first rasoi..

I used to hate her behavior during the breakup phase... where she knew what Dev was going through and still put her needs above Dev's happiness.

But, post wedding track, I have actually started to understand her insecurities better and i cant find myself to hate her anymore.. I do feel bad for ishwari's condition.. I could understand what she must be going through and it is very tough for her. I pity her that she found herself in this situation.her situation is only due to her inability to find happiness in anything that does not involve DEV.

From childhood both dev and ishwari had his exclusive deep bonding that they didnt have with anyone else.. They both have nourished it over their lifetime but since dev is young he could easily find another person who he could love as much as his mom..and his time and priorities have split between the two now. But ishwari is way beyond that age where she can easily establish deep bonds and find other means to spend her time when dev is with his wife..also everytime dev tries to spend time exclusively with his wife, ishwari drags him down so that she doesnt lose the time she has been entitled to her whole life.

This is where she would need intervention and only dev and sona can help her . They need to introduce new bonds to ishwari - bonding with the sisters and sona. Until this happens we will find ishwari in this very pitiable situation several times.

Hope that is what this show will give to viewers..

how has dev forgotten basic things between them? does he not still listen to what she instructs? did you not see him sit with her and talk to her at night, like always?

what had ishwari done for her daughter? did she tak to her? did shetalk to ranverr? isnt that a mother's job?

sorry to say but Ishari is not a good mother. she has ruined dev's life. she has fiscriminated with her girls. she has purposely lied to create issues between sonakshi. and yes, she manipulated sonakshi into veat and making up "no touch" rule by talking about her ownheqlth and well wishing of family

As a parent, it's her responsibility to see her kid is happy. Even if she is feeling left out which I agree is normal to feel, she shouldn't be knowingly try to cause trouble between the newlyweds. And this is where Ishwari fell short. She is not even trying to cut the cord, instead she is sitting there and competing with Sona, Dev's wife.

As for his responsibility, Dev hasn't left out his sisters and mother out in cold. He is still taking care of them, it's just that first time in his life, he is doing something for his own happiness instead of just thinking about responsibilities. One can't blame him for that.

Everyone has right to be happy and everyone has to find their own happiness. Ishwari has to realize her place in her sons life, especially that Sona holds as much importance if not more now that she is his WIFE, His other half. What will Ishwari do when Dev has kids? Caz Dev's attention is going to divide even further, is she going to sit there and cry that her son is taking care of his kids instead of paying attention to her!!

Why did Ishwari ignore Dev's point of view of Neha Ranveer proposal ? And if she did, why to blame Dev now and seek his help for recovery ? This is nothing but hypocrisy..

I agree with your honeymoon point though.. honestly if I am at Sona's place, I would have taken my SIL and her husband too in our honeymoon which could be their honeymoon as well. I think Ranveer will not have much problem with that if Dev sponsors because in that case it would be more like a couple trip :) .. That could have rekindled Neha's broken relationship too..

Sona has lately stopped being the kind of modern independent girl she used to be, she has become too self-absorbed about what she wants that she is ignoring others' existence, she was not like this earlier.. guess Dixit effect.. I am sure Asha would have come up with such solution if so..

This is the whole point. She is not a normal mother, she needs extra lover, care and affection, just like some children do.

I agree with the part that she should not tru and compete with Sonakshi, but it's surprising you think thay once a wife comes she has more importance than the mom. As much okay. But more?

Dev has not left out his sisters? Funny because apparently he has done Nothing for Neha and is busy planning his own honeymoon travelles at such a time. Wonder if you would say the same if Dev-Sona have a major marriage problem and Neha is happily singing her honeymoon jingles in front of them.

But alas this is the point, as much as I like Dev this is his flaw. He has been too overtaken by his own happiness that now nothing more matters.

As for Sonakshi less said is better. The way she is planning honeymoon and all despite the problems in Dev's family shows how much she considers them as their own.

Exactly thanks for saying that Sonakshi has become too self-absorbed.

I don't think ranveer will agree to anyone paying for neha and himself to go on a honeymoon... And a honeymoon is really meant to be between two newly weds...all their passion and romance and love for each other happens at a honeymoon...a honeymoon is not a vacation... The intent is that two becomes one and they learn to find and explore each other physically and emotionally...ishwari manipulates each and every situation for dev to feel guilty and follow her orders...neha was in the house all the time and ishwari did not say anything...when neha accepted ranveer proposal it was ishwari job as a mother to let her know life will not be easy with ranveer but she chose not to...when dev interferred she stopped him...and now she expects him to do something...yes it will take time to adjust with sona but she is not making an effort...I

I don't feel any kind of sadness or sympathy for ishwari becoz she is doing all this to herself. She should be thankful to get a son and a dil like dev and sona becoz they themselves consider her very imp. What can dev do if neha doesn't watch patch up? Ishwari didn't even tried to talk to neha after that day forget ranveer. And most infuriating part is all the burden is on dev when dev was in pain then where was ishwari and all the sisters???????? No one even tries to know his feelings. Normal mother would be happy to see his son happy but for ishwari only her happiness is important, if dev is happy with me then it OK otherwise he should not be happy!!!!!!!!!!!😡
Hence forget feeling bad I think she needs psychiatrist

Seriously?
Like you think a mother who is not only unfair to her daughters, gives preferential treatment to her son over daughters and on top of it, puts the entire burden of responsibilities on her son and had made caged in the past and now, interfering in his newly married life - is all normal and she is not wrong! How selfish a mother can be, the way she sent Ritwik's prposal to Sona's house and let manipulated her son in believing that she wants her good!
I am not even talking about the prenup and half lies she has being telling.
If her concern was Neha, then why was she sitting in her room today and talking to herself that Dev won't be able to stay without me for 15 days?
I have to ask - are we watching the same serial? 😆
