How selfish a mother can be, the way she sent Ritwik's prposal to Sona's house and let manipulated her son in believing that she wants her good!
I am not even talking about the prenup and half lies she has being telling.
If her concern was Neha, then why was she sitting in her room today and talking to herself that Dev won't be able to stay without me for 15 days?
I have to ask - are we watching the same serial? 😆

Yes. But I probably am with a more bigger perspective. Did Dev ever object being given preferential treatment? Irony enough 😆

In that case Dev shouldn't have got married only! That's what Ishwari wanted deep down right? Also Dev should have understood of their bond and what his mother has done to him and what she means to him and decided not to get married. Why ruin a girls life unnecessarily?

This is what I posted in another thread.

Empty nest syndrome is painful. More so for a single parent. But usually empty nest syndrome affects two ways. 1. When the nest is completely empty as in all chicks has flown the nest and 2. When the chicks are going for extended period like going to university for four years or moved out to be independent.

Neither of those situation apply to Ishwari. If anything the chick that flew out, she came back again, making the numbers back to what it was after she got married.

In fact the way Ishwari is behaving as if Dev and Sona dumped her at old age home alone while they are moving away. She is in her home with her brother's family and all of her daughters while Dev and Sona going away for 15 days only. That's only two weeks. If she still feels empty nest syndrome then the rest of the family can drop dead and she won't care beyond a few tears as long as Dev is there.

Her daughters including Neha have the same past as Dev and her, why didn't she do anything for Neha when she came back. If she had time to manipulate Dev and get Vicky a job, she had time to fix Neha's marriage.

That makes her concern for Neha completely false. She was just a convenient excuse. How many times she has called Ranveer to get the full story? She calls Dev every single day.

Forget Ranveer, when Dev was in her room today, she never even mentioned for him to take steps to help Neha get back to her husband. She was just basking in his attention.

But suddenly her sleeping concern woke up when she herself got jealous of Dev and Sona's honeymoon plans. Sorry, that is not in my opinion, empty nest syndrome or motherly concern. That's plain old green eyed monster.

Irony lies in the fact that Ishwari manipulated him and his thinking so much and he believes she is God, is indebted to her forever, and will keep clinging to the past - he is still in poverty - the irony is that even after amassing so much wealth, he is in abject poverty of emotional baggage and immaturity. He has no control over how his mother treats/ cares for his siblings - is that his fault? Huh!

Yes but let me tell you she is at Level 1 of this where the other Dixits including Dev would be in Level 8-9 😆

I agree with your honeymoon point though.. honestly if I am at Sona's place, I would have taken my SIL and her husband too in our honeymoon which could be their honeymoon as well. I think Ranveer will not have much problem with that if Dev sponsors because in that case it would be more like a couple trip :) .. That could have rekindled Neha's broken relationship too..

Sona has lately stopped being the kind of modern independent girl she used to be, she has become too self-absorbed about what she wants that she is ignoring others' existence, she was not like this earlier.. guess Dixit effect.. I am sure Asha would have come up with such solution if so..

couple's honeymoon? who does that 😆

sonakshi self absorbed.. we are watching two different shows 😉 ishwari has been kicking her out of everything and advising her to do what she can do best.. sooo, she is doing what she does best.. pamper and love her new husband 👏 sonakshi has been told to mind her own business. so how did Neha become her responsibility? its mom job to help her clueless daughter!

Desperate time needs desperate measures dear 😆 I know that's odd but two young couples can enjoy a good trip as good as honeymoon 😳 But that's my belief anyways, not necessarily to be the right one..

Yes self-absorbed why - because taking unilateral decisions to keep such strict fast and depriving Dev of obvious things is not right.. her sasuma-pataao mission was totally initiated by her without thinking about Dev.. how many times has she thought about her parents so far ? She knows the family is dependent pn her right ? But she forgot about her job 😃 While running for Dev leaving Rithwik behind, she didnt even pay attention to her parents' well and hard-esrned respect.. If not self-absorbed, then what can this be termed as ?

Anyways, Sona is the least of devils though, not much of a confern right now.. Ishwari and pccasionally Dev who concerns me 😆

sona has been visiting her family often. as far as sheknow her bro's business was doing quite well. he gave her lavish gifts and paid for high class wedding. so she is rightfullly not worried there. she doesnt know he was cheated by his business partern. her parents just found out.

saasu ma pataso mission was EPIC fail 😆 agree! bit she was doing it cause she loves Dev. but she has given up on that.. pataao hubby mission FULL ON 👏 since saasu didnt want her involved with anything.

none of this is self absorbed. but yes she'll go bqck to work. most girls take time off for few days. looks like she plans to start after HM.

It's so funny, you know the way you guys mock and make fun of Ishwari.

why don't anyone understand that Dev and Ishwari is not like a normal Mother and Son. You me, our brother we all go on school trips, do we cry that we are going away from our mom?

Ishwari has lost her husband at such a small age, you know she has no one to talk to, Dev means the world to her, and the biggest thing is that she is trying.

It's so easy to forget basic things you do with your mother for you wife, but if is a crime to forget basic things you do with your wife for your mother.
do you seriously think the sisters genuinely care abt dev? during the natasha incident they were all over the place trying to bond with her. when he declined getting engaged they even had the audacity to question his decision. coming to sona even after he was so open abt his intention of getting married to her they did not even try to have a courtesy chats with her. even when they broke up did anyone try to each out to dev? atleast let him know that he is not alone but has siblings. what did they ever do for him?

Those sisters that were everything to you becomes nothing, if your sister is in so much pain why the hell can't you postpone a bloody honeymoon?
the issue here is not really abt the honeymoon, i feel u r conveniently over looking the fact that neha is not even ready to discuss her issue with dev. if its only abt the fact that ranveer is poor then i am sorry to say neha walked into this relationship with her eyes open. the issue of ranveer having a laid back attitude when it comes to earning money was always there. to me i feel that the novelty of being in love has worned out for neha that's why she is feeling suffocated now. she never really tried to bond with ranveer .

I'm baffled at the way Dev and Sonakshi's flaws are over looked.

Maybe Ishwari's ways are wrong, but that mother needs some special care. You know she has given you your everything. Instead of killing her everyday, making her cry at this age better directly kill her
no one is killing her , its only ishawris insecurities and her frequent urge to be the numero uno female in devs life making her feel so miserable.

I know I will get bashed for this, but I don't care! I had to speak for a mother from whose POV no one thinks of. My heart goes out to her.

😊

Nice post. Ishwari is a good possessive mother who is changing to include Sonakshi in her life. She is also accepting changes in her son's behaviour - as seen in yesterday's episode. But she knows Dev deeply. Sonakshi is yet to reach there. 😃 But the precap is again showing her indulgence in Neha's behaviour and her high expectations from Dev, which is not correct. As a mother, she needs to first talk to her daughter and Ranveer and find out what has gone wrong. Or who is wrong! Just keeping her daughter hidden away from the Society would not help resolve problems. Dev is a successful businessman and has several other important matters to handle. Why can't Ishwari try and resolve this problem and then turn to Dev?

Besides, there is no reason for Dev-Sonakshi to postpone their honeymoon for Neha-Ranveer. In a best scenario, they can be asked to join in!! But then, privacy is lost. Or send them somewhere else. 😃 But, why wait till Neha-Ranveer reconcile? 😲 That is uncalled for...Lets see what the CVs have in store for viewers.
