Why do you think Ishwari is unable to accept any girl in Dev's life?

Guys, it's time to don your hats...

Time for some brain storming...

Think thoroughly, and tell, what would be the psychology behind Ishwari's inability to accept any girl in Dev's life?

We have stated enough that she is mental, insecure, obsessed and all... As far as I understand, she is not clinically ill... There's some thought behind it...

Can anyone help me with that? Any real valid reason?

May be she just snached away her husband from her mother in law and she fears tgat sona will do the same🤣

She subconsciously thinks Dev is her husband and she Dev's wife. She is stuck in the illusion that Dev is young and she is running in the home in poverty. Ishwari has not come out of it. On the outer side she knows Dev is her Son, but she has somehow replaced the son as husband that is where the problem arises. Ishwari herself does not know she thinks like that.

Hahaha... Funny... Waise, I was thinking, how come Ishwari has no relatives from her Sasural? I mean even at her husband's death, it was Maamaji who did the rites of the body...
Can it really be that Ishwari snatched her hubby away from his family?

Koi toh logic hoga... I trust the writers to not close Ishwari's behavior on any stupid note... She's one lead of the show...

Additionally Dev has nurtured this mis - understanding unintentionally, he does not even know he is doing what he did. He has no idea that his mother thinks like that.

Her actions clearly indicate what I said above. Its not from Dev's side, he thinks normal.

This partner thing toh I too have analyzed multiple times, and feel it to be 100% true... No doubt...

But how do you think she will realize this? Introspection or Confrontation with Dev? What's your say?

I think she has some past that she wants to remain burried. This fear of the past which haven't had a proper closure is making her live in her past. This is also making her insecure that she will lose her son.

I personally cannot think of any other reason other then .."change" ..she is not able to accept change in her life ..and since her world revolves around her son ..so any change in his life will lead to disturbance so may be this could be the reason ..but I would really like to know the real reason :)

Its a psychiatric problem. I HAVE SEEN such cases, it definitely sounds disgusting, but this happens.

If son gets married somehow, then his wife will face a lot of trouble.

If son is smart enough, he will see the problem, if he is blinded by love like Dev, then he will never accept the fact that his mother has a problem. 😕

I do feel your point to be highly valid... But the thing is, what's the solution? A smart son if in case, how does he solve this? To seek treatment, the basic rule is the willingness to get treated...
In the case of hiring a nutritionist, it was for the sake of her son and the hefty amount he had paid, Ishwari finally gave in... it was not for herself but for the love of her son...
But to seek a psychiatric treatment, when you realize that your son is doing this to live a peaceful life, would Ishwari be willing to be treated?

May be Geena ji it may be true .. Even Supriya ji's Insta post indicates towards the past...But what could it be? We have to wait and watch for that..
