Tanya slaps Nandini and says that there is a truth that she should know.

Karan is being taken back to custody and sees Meera and Thulsi taking. He asks Meera why she had to restore to something like that…to save him? What if something had happened to nandini. He does not want freedom at her cost. Damini who is a witness wonders how many more tests the family has to give to tide over the situation. Tanya was only trying to help save Karan, so she was not at fault.

Tanya and Nandini are in conversation and Tanya says that Karan was totally confused when he spoke in court last time. So Meera suggested that they tell a lie till things become clearer. All she said was false. Nandini says that Tanya is lying. She now understands a lot of things that Tanya had told in the past. Tanya asks her to trust her; she did not trust Karan too. She adds that she is not related to Karan in any way. Nandini cools off. Tanya says if the excitement had caused nandini any harm, how would she face him again? Nandini says that as long as Tanya is with her, nothing will harm her. They both walk back to court hand in hand.

Karan is being led back to the witness box. Tanya rushes forward and tells Karan that she has told everything to Nandini and she is now okay. Karan looks at nandini, though she is down, she is not angry.

The judge takes his seat and the proceedings of the court begin. Meera says that Mansingh was in a hurry to solve his 100^th case so he did not verify the facts. Since karan was with Tanya, he could not have killed Gujral, so could he be freed. She also continues that Mansingh is missing from court. He walks in at that moment and says that though he is late, but he is still in the nick of time. He whispers something to the public prosecutor.

Mansingh is called as witness, though Meera objects initially. The public prosecutor insists that the case will take a new direction as soon as they hear Mansingh. Chauhan says that on the night of murder, Tanya was not in Mumbai but had been to Pune. As she was delayed she stayed at a hotel and made a payment using her credit card. So the prosecutor uses Meera's words and says that since a single person can't be available at two places at the same time, Tanya could not be with karan. Mansingh also says that if the court asks for it, then her signature in the hotel register could be verified from a hand writing expert.

Mansingh knows too well that Meera has lost confidence and says Karan has actually committed the murder or else he would not have sought Tanya's help. Tanya feels very guilty. Mansingh continues that Tanya did try to help him as she has an "illicit" relationship with Karan. He adds that the Viranis have never been exemplary in their behaviour. Mihir ran away with his wife Thulsi. Karan is hurt and angry. Mansingh continues, he then had a relationship with Mandira, the result of which is Karan. Thulsi, his wife murdered her own son in cold blood. Karan screams out loud "Mansingh". Nandini was Ansh's wife and he has also heard that she was raped before her marriage with karan. Karan rushes out of the box and grabs Mansingh by his collar and say that he will kill him. The constables pull him back. Mansingh seeks the permission of the judge to question karan. The judge grants his request.

Mansingh asks karan how much intoxicated he was on the night of murder. Karan says may be he had 3 pegs, Mansingh says it was 9. Karan says possible, he never counted them. He then asks him why he went to the terrace. Karan says he was feeling suffocated and wanted some fresh air. Mansingh asks him if he wanted to suffocate Adithya Gujral? And asks a series of similar questions in rapid succession. Karan (like an idiot) begins everything with a "Yes", but and never gets to complete them as Mansingh shoots the next question. He asks him if karan was aware if Adithay was on the terrace. Karan says yes. Again Mansingh says that was he angry with Gujral? Again a positive response…..Mansingh says that he saw a harpoon and decide to kill Gujral to save his beloved daughter Bhoomi from Adithya? Mansingh also adds that Karan can in his anger go over board as he just did, cos he was angrier on that day than today. Karan says "YES" he killed Gujral. Shattering of glass is shown on the face of Thulsi, nandini, Mihir , rest of the family and finally Karan himself.

Tomorrow: Judge asks Thulsi not to get excited as she is disturbing the proceedings of the court. Thulsi does not pay any heed and says that because his family was humiliated and the pressure tactics adopted by Mansingh made karan admit to a crime which he could never have committed. It ends with Thulsi saying "Karan Khoon" (nahi karsaktha ?) and Karan saying "Kiya hain Maa"

dont think karan did it, me thinks he is just trying to protect his family or he may know the real killer.

I don't think that Karan did the murder. Mansingh got Karan so confused that Karan started saying yes to everything so he said yes that he did the murder, but I don't think so it's someone else.

i think that it is karans plan, he will be arrested and the real killer will not care as much and then they will have a chance of getting some proof or he might be saving a family members life or he was framed by a unknown person
