He was bisexual, not homosexual. Those are 2 *very* different things.


People suspect Kafur was gay, yes. I doubt sexual proclivities are based upon the country of origin.. It was wide-spread even in Mughal Hindustan, Roman Empire infact, was famed for it!!! As was the Ottoman Empire.

His soldiers captured Kafur, his general or someorn bought him off the market & then decided that castrating him & making him his lover would be the correct way to go about his infatuation. 🤢 He was evil & pathetic. I don't even feel bad that Kafur basically, played a long con, kept him seduced, murdered him (in bed say some) and then promptly went about killing all his male family members to avoid war for succession. Khilji totally deserved it & back.

^^ I took your statement to mean that his country of origin somehow influenced his asexuality which doesn't make sense to me & no, he wasn't gay. He was bisexual. And I reckon in his case it could be argued that he was an equal-oppurtunity switch-hitter.. Anyway, many historic rulers were bisexual. A lot of it has to do with different perceptions of sexuality and the assertion of power.
