His recent block buster movies are Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana and now the recently released movie which is running towards 100 days is Oopirii. The movie which is a multi starrer flick featuring Nagarjuna and Karthi in the main lead roles had been released in Telugu and Tamil.
As per the latest update the satellite rights of Oopiri had been sold for a whopping price. As per the official information Sun Network had grabbed the satellite rights of the movie for a price of Rs 12 crores which is the highest price for Nagarjuna movies. Both Tamil and Telugu version rights were acquired by Sun Network.
When we look at the other details of the flick OOpiri is the official remake of the French movie The intouchables and the flick is produced by Prasad V Potluri under the banner PVP Cinema. The movie also had Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Ali, Vivek, Tanikella Bharani, Manobala, Kalpana and many others playing supportive roles in the movie.
After the success of the movie the Bollywood producers had competed to buy the remake rights of the movie and the Bollywood remake rights of Oopiri are purchased by Karan Johar and Big B Amitabh Bachchan will reprise the role of Nagarjuna and Varun Dhawan will reprise the character of Karthi
