This one is sheer brilliance. A masterpiece. I loved that you left it open ended. It was so painful to read this. I said it before and i will say it again that i am simply amazed at how you manage to put the point across in a few words.. The conversation that i thought would run long what with so much pent up anger, guilt, grief and love but you wrote that in such a concise manner.. Hats off to that👏

The mess these two landed themselves in shattered them both.. There's nothing i can pick and say this was the best part.. Every single line has left an impact. And him taking her to the cliff was a masterstroke.. kind of coming full circle.. To be at the place where it all started or rather ended..

These two know each other so well, understand the other, can read each other's eyes and grasp what the other is thinking.

The fact that he went to the cliff regularly to talk to his deceased daughter and talked to her about his wife, her Ishimaa.😭 And i also loved that he admitted that Ishita won't ever harm Ruhi ,thus absolving her of the wrong n hurtful accusations he threw at her.

He asked her so very valid questions of why she played dead, chose to keep all of them, keep him in the dark about her existence and how she would feel if one day she woke up to the news that he was no more? And she on the other hand lets him know what drove her to that decision, of the power of his hold on her be it physical, emotional or mental. The effect of his words on her. Amazing stuff.👏

I liked that both realized and admitted to their mistakes..addressed every accusation that was hurled..acceptance of each other's feelings was so well written. They are actually at an impasse. These issues between them are humongous and the guilt, pain and anger runs deeper than one can perceive. They cant just get back at the drop of a hat or here just at the bouquet of white lilies..🤢
For the sake of my sanity, i hope they don't. But i also know better than to keep any expectations by now.

I am quoting the few lines i absolutely loved.

To the onlookers, it was the confident gait of an angry man, so as to approach his presumed dead wife. To her, it was the stockpile of pent-up agony waiting to be unleashed at any moment.

This actually made me shiver in anticipation of what was coming.. and u took them to the cliff👏

"Aaj bhi, biwi ho tum meri!" heard she.

He paused for a second to look at her.

Numerous scenes flashed through their eyes in a trice.

Claiming her, for the world.

To Param, outside the court.

To Subbu's mother, in Iyers' old house.

To Shagun, inside their house and everywhere else.

To his father, that led to the family feud.

Claiming her, as his own.

In a bus, asking for a kiss.

In a restaurant, asking for a hug.

In their bedroom, asking for the special night.

Everywhere he could remind her that she belonged to him.

These lines again had so much impact. Even she couldn't help but give in.

Afraid to sleep, scared to wake up! Frightened of sitting down, terrified of standing up! Every single day, every single moment, fighting with the world to let me go too, to my daughter and my wife, only to realize you left your shadows in the wake of your DEATH, and that I could not die, for what would become of your son and our daughter if I left them too?"

This is absolutey AMAZING work, Nidz😳 Love you🤗

Neets 🤗 I'm so glad you finally got the time to read this one 😃 😳 And even more glad that you loved it 😳 🤗

Yeah, I had this cliff thing already decided even before I started to write it down. As you said, kind of coming a full circle 😊 This is where it all began, or ended. No other place would have made sense for the confrontation 😳

These two know each other so well, understand the other, can read each other's eyes and grasp what the other is thinking.

You know that I've time and again understood (or at least tried to) Raman's state of mind. His plight and how his mind works. In the heart of his hearts, he knew Ishita wouldn't ever do it to Ruhi if she could prevent it. He also knew what she meant to him. And so, I believe, that after he lost the two of them, and closed himself up again from friends and family, he'd at least have this outlet of expressing his grief 😔 It is kind of painful to imagine, and sad, but what would a man in his position then do? 😭 😭

@bold - Exactly my point! But lilies is what we're going to get 😆 So this needed to be written 😊

Aww.. I'm happy that shivering feeling came across 😛

This is one of my favorite parts as well. I just HAD to include this 😆

Afraid to sleep, scared to wake up! Frightened of sitting down, terrified of standing up! Thank you so very much Neets ☺️ Love you too 🤗
