Good god this woman was full of herself. She's definitely calmed down and matured a lot. I don't know whether it's just maturity with age or Saif's influence.

In the mid 2000s I used to lurk at this other Bollywood forum and they had a permenant topic on Kareena quotes. That post was always busy because of all the gems Bebe would provide 😆.

It's both. Throughout the years I think she's matured with age, but mainly, I think the biggest difference is the 9 years she spent with Saif. He sucked most of her insecurity out of her, taught her tact, and showed her a world outside films.

Just look at this interview. The central theme there is, "I wanna be the No1 Heroine". Everything is centered around that idea.

I think even Shahid was a good influence on Kareena. She definitely became mellow in those 4-5 years she was with him.
