The remark came during a heated moment involving fellow contestant Bhavya, who is also known to Divya outside the show. Their argument quickly escalated, bringing Divya’s marriage with Apurva Padgaonkar into the spotlight after Bhavya alleged that the two have been living separately.

Following the episode, Divya Agarwal got into an exclusive chat with India Forums where she addressed the claim and clarified the reality of their living arrangement. “The perspective could be very different from what it looks like. Agreeing on staying separately from husband Apurva, Divya says, ''We do stay separately and we have two separate houses. I take care of my own house and he takes care of his own house with his parents. He stays closer to his work and I stay closer to mine. We meet like girlfriend and boyfriends. We message each other goodnights and goodbyes. We have lots of dates planned and sometimes we walk into each other’s house to surprise one another.”

Divya further explained that the arrangement works well for them and even helps keep their relationship fresh and stress free. “It’s a beautiful life. I think it keeps me alive. You know, it keeps our relationship alive. It’s a beautiful thing because of this. We do not have many of those small, silly fights that usually happen between husband and wife. Like why is the towel wet here, why is the utensil there, why is this lying here. All of that reduces a lot. It’s a beautiful setting,'' she says.
