Jai Gangaajal: 1st Wednesday Box Office Collection

Priyanka Chopra starrer Jai Gangaajal managed to collect approx 2.50 crores on its 6th day at the box office. The film now stands with the total collection of 27.25 crores at the box office.

Jai Gangaajal might end its 1st week collection around 30 crores at the box office. This Prakash Jha directorial venture also stars Manav Kaul and Rahul Bhat in supporting roles.

Jai Gangaajal Has Low First Week

Jai Gangaajal had a low first week of 23.25 crore nett. The film had a low weekend but got benefit of Mahashivratri on Monday at many places but collections went down again on Tuesday. The film has fared better in places like CI and UP where business can be called average but that is not enough for the film to go anywhere.

The film was expected to benefit from the media hype of Priyanka Chopra being an international star but these things don't make any difference with the Indian audience even if reports are taken at face value.

There is not much competition this week with just one main release as far as Hindi films are concerned but it will still it will be struggle for Jai Gangaajal to get a decent collection in week two.

ohh mannn movie was an average affair for me. actually the movie belongs to jha than pc. pc work was patchy here, tell you at times she is really good, but at the same time, times its not so good. also..even after lots of maar dhaar she comes out ek dum clean. not a single bruise, hair makeup all in still in top form. but hey that jha scores here...solid performance from him.

the editing sucks...oh boy many many scenes need to be chopped completely and some in half. fast forward kar deh.

direction ok..but movie way too loud for me.

outdated kaho...

you can watch at home..don't waste money in theaters. mine is wasted already.

Jai Gangaajal Second Weekend - Neerja Fourth Weekend

Jai Gangaajal grossed 4.25 crore nett over its second weekend taking its lifetime business to around 27.50 crore nett. The film has average collections in some pockets but this is not enough to change the overall fate of the film.

The film managed to get some collections on the board as the competition for week. It was also the best collecting film this week as it beat the figures of Tera Suroor. Jai Gangaajal also had the fourth highest second weekend of the year after Airlift, Neerja and Wazir.

Neerja grossed around 3.50 crore nett on its fourth weekend with huge growth on Saturday. It is a good collection in terms of nett but with tax free status almost all over these collections are almost gross collections in terms of that it is less impressive. The total business of the film is around 69 crore nett.

Jai Gangaajal is doing reasonable business in some parts of the country due to lack of competition. Its fate was sealed in week one but has managed some business in week two. The four day second week business of Jai Gangaajal is as follows

Friday - 1,00,00,000

Saturday - 1,50,00,000

Sunday - 1,75,00,000

Monday - 75,00,000

Total - 5,00,00,000

Jai Gangaajal will have a 7 crore nett second week which will take its business to over 30 crore nett which is the fourth highest total of the year. .

Jai Gangaajal 30 Crore Plus - Neerja 70 Crore Plus

Jai Gangaajal grossed 7 crore nett in week two which is not a good collection but considering what has happened to most films in week two barring a few does make the collections looks better. Obviously the lack of competition has helped and it has the highest collections of all films plating over the week gone by.

The film has grossed around 30,25 crore nett in two weeks being driven mainly by UP and CI (Tax Free). This week will see very low colections as its had a two week run at single screens and multiplexes will see a major release with Kapoor & Sons.

Neerja grossed around 5.50 crore nett in week four and has now grossed over 70 crore nett with an apprx total of 70.50 crore nett.The film is tax free in most parts of the country and that has really helped the film over the past two weeks. The drops are there in terms of GROSS box office collections.
