What is Fantasy Cricket?

Fantasy Cricket is an Online simulator Game in which you create a team from all the players playing in a tournament within some rules and restrictions. You get points according to the performance of your chosen player on the field. The person who has the most points in the end of the tournament wins.

How to Play?

To play Fantasy cricket you need 3 elements.

1. Cricketing Knowledge: Most important aspect. You need to know which player will perform against which type of bowling and in which kind of pitch. Also you need to keep in mind the form of the Player. 60% of the time players win who have this base strong.

2. Strategy: You can have a lot of cricket knowledge but no strategy on how to make changes and save subs so that it last the full tournament will be your downfall. You need to plan in advance so that you dont run out of subs anytime and play full tournament. Complicated isn't it, No it wont be, once you start you will get addicted to it and you will start going in with the flow.

3. You can have the best knowledge and perfect strategy to last full tournament but still Luck factor can override everything. 😆 A personal experience, I did not pick gayle in the match when he scored 175 v PWI in 2013 and suffered a huge setback and could not recover from it whole tournament. Some times it will happen that once you start getting right combination you will get momentum and luck combo and will perform brilliantly in many consecutive matches and then you will feel like it s so easy but in reverse sometimes whatever you will do will fail and you will feel like *%@&$%#&# 😆. So some patience is also required. 👏

Making Changes:

Once you start with your initial squad you will have to change you team daily. Or you can make a team for 4/5 matches in advance. 😃 A substitution means 1 player in AND 1 player Out. No of A substitution available.

SUBSTITUTIONS

The schedule is divided into 4 phases. The phase details are listed below:
Phase 1
Match 1 - Match 12
8th March - 13th March, 2016
Phase 2
Match 13 - Match 22
15th March - 21st March, 2016
Phase 3
Match 23 - Match 32
22nd March - 28th March, 2016
Phase 4
Match 33 - Match 35
30th March - 3rd April, 2016

Transfers allowed at different phases of the tournament are listed below:

Before the start of Phase 1
Unlimited
During Phase 1
24 transfers
Between the end of Phase 1 and the start of Phase 2
Unlimited
During Phase 2
20 transfers
Between the end of Phase 2 and the start of Phase 3
Unlimited
During Phase 3
20 transfers
Between the end of Phase 3 and the start of Phase 4
Unlimited
During Phase 4
10 transfers
Note: If you exhaust the quota of transfers for a particular phase, you won't be able to make further transfers for that phase.

CAPTAIN

You can change your Captain as many times as you want. So remember to change it for every match.

LOCK IN

Teams are locked when the first ball of a match is bowled.
Changes made after the first ball of a match is bowled will not affect points earned in that match. So if you drop a player after the first ball of the match is bowled, he'll still earn points for you in that match.

HOW TO JOIN THE LEAGUE.

1. Create a account on ICC Fantasy League or log in with FB.

2. Then create your team for Classic Fantasy.

3. After you create a team go to http://fantasy.icc-cricket.com/Fantasy/leagues?iswv=0 and below your team you will see a tab named Join league.

4. Click on Join League and enter League name as 'India Forums' and 'vijay' in the password box.

5. Now you will see india forums in your leagues tab. I will approve who ever i recognize as IF members. For that you just need to post your team name in this thread after joining.

6. Now you are done. All you need now is make subs wisely and join in the fantasy fun. 🥳

I started sending PM to people but forgot the fact that many people dont even know other teams apart from the main teams. Some people dont even know main teams apart from IND/SA/AUS/PAK. 😆 I think i should stop sending PMs. 😳😆

Also i think i have PMed everybody important. 😛

IPL will have huge participation like last year.

Also is tsktsk aka 9tanki still alive? 😛
