Sanam Re looks set to recover its costs

...or if you go by the producer's figures, it has already recovered its costs.

It wasn't even appreciated much, but because of the shoestring budget, it has done fairly well.

Looks like other Bollywood producers need to learn from T-series, who managed to keep costs low with decent production values!

I know. The makers had been smart. They used music and Some PR to recover all costs within the weekend business itself.

BW needs to use it's resources properly for hits.. But everyone attempts extravaganza .. And make flops.

This is what a hit, conventional soundtrack can do for a low budget film..

Sanam re, and yariyaan- both had C-grade actors and both films were terrible.. Yet they managed to recover costs and become profitable ventures.

And now as a result, a terrible director like Divya Khosla Kumar has a better success record than all the acclaimed directors of the industry 😆

😆 u said it all. Even though,now I even don't remember the cast of yaariyan.

Not yet, a movie with (20 cr) budget , should do business of (30 cr) to recover his cost.
the producers don't take all the collections.
above ( 30 cr ) is profit.
