Karisma Kapoor approaches family court for her children's custody

Actress Karisma Kapoor visited the family court at Bandra to seek decision over the custody of her children.

Actress Karisma Kapoor's personal life seems to be in a state of turmoil. Earlier we had reports about the actress's husband Sanjay Kapoor had filed a divorce alleging that she used her children to get money from him. The decision of the case is still pending in court, and the next hearing is said to be on 3rd March, 2016.

Interestingly, we found a new twist to the story!

If reports are to be believed, Karisma had approached the family court at Bandra along with her lawyer and manager yesterday. Sanjay's lawyer had filed a case for the custody of their children to which Karisma's lawyer Kranti Sathe had now filed litigation in its reply. They even opposed the interim custody of the children to Sanjay.

However, Sanjay was absent at the hearing yesterday and thus, advocate Heer Karamchandani took the charge of the proceedings. What's strange is that, Karisma hasn't yet replied to the divorce filed by Sanjay!

Karishma has done so many movies where her marital bliss is taken away from her like Zubeidaa, Ek Rishta, Rishtey, Raja Hindustani, Shakti, I never thought they'd mirror her real life, this is just way too painful to read about :'(

If only Karisma had done what SHE wanted to with her life instead of meekly following her greedy mom's wishes😔She always came across as a nice person with a good heart..Hope they come to decision soon and kids are kept out of this mess.

I've read the comments under Karishma divorce in different sites. People are always blaming Babita. While she might not be the best of mom, at certain point we have to take responsibility for our own actions and decisions. She's not a little girl anymore, she's a woman in her 40s. Babita can't be held responsible for every single thing wrong in Karishma's life. While we might take side of celebrities in divorce cases, we don't know what goes on in their marriage. Karishma might not be as innocent and naive as we think. I mean for one she refuses to divorce because her settlement money isn't a lot.
