Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira almost sees Armaan and Maira, but Mukti distracts her

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan keeps himself busy throughout the night, burying himself in work. Krish and Meher quietly observe that ever since Maira’s departure for the hostel has been finalised, Armaan has been stretching his office hours just to avoid thinking about it. When Armaan asks Krish to bring an important office file, Krish informs him that all the pending files have already been completed. Not satisfied, Armaan then demands the redevelopment file instead.

Meher grows concerned seeing him work endlessly and questions how long he plans to continue like this. Armaan calmly replies that he intends to work till morning. In between the conversation, Meher casually asks him to find a suitable match for her. Armaan, however, advises her to remain single and focus on her own happiness. His unexpected response leaves Meher hurt and disappointed.

On the other hand, Abhira asks Mukti to go to sleep, but Mukti refuses. She says she wants to capture every little memory before leaving for the hostel so that she does not feel homesick later. She then asks Abhira whether she will truly be okay staying alone and suggests that perhaps she should consider shifting houses due to the redevelopment complications. Abhira reassures her that she will manage everything on her own. Mukti encourages her to at least speak once to the redevelopment owner and understand the situation clearly. Meanwhile, in an ironic twist, Abhira and Armaan unknowingly end up texting each other at the same time.

The next morning arrives with mixed emotions. As Mukti prepares to leave, Armaan questions Maira about sending her wish list to Meher. Maira asks him if he has been awake the entire night. Armaan internally blames the garage owner situation for keeping him distracted. Maira explains that she shared the list only because Meher insisted. Armaan reminds her firmly that his equation with Meher is strictly professional. Maira nods in agreement.

The Poddar family gathers to bid farewell to Maira. Emotions run high as she struggles to hold back her tears. Kaveri admits that although she understands the importance of Maira going to the hostel, her heart still questions why it has to happen. Mukti lightens the mood by asking Nilesh why he is playing emotional songs and assures everyone that she will keep visiting frequently. Jaya gifts Mukti a silver chain. Abhira hesitates, saying the gift looks expensive, but Jaya lovingly insists that it is from the heart.

Manisha presents Maira with a pendant shaped like wings, encouraging her to chase her dreams fearlessly. She apologizes to Armaan for gifting Maira despite his earlier instructions, but Armaan chooses to ignore the comment. Before leaving, both Maira and Mukti pray silently, hoping they find good friends at the hostel so that they don’t constantly miss Armaan and Abhira.

Later, Armaan personally drops Maira at her school hostel, while Abhira accompanies Mukti. At one point, Abhira almost crosses paths with Armaan and Maira, but Mukti unintentionally interrupts the moment. Maira grows emotional and tells Armaan that she cannot imagine life without him. Watching her vulnerability, Armaan is equally affected. At the same time, Abhira finds herself thinking deeply about Maira.

In the precap, tension rises dramatically. While going back home, Abhira’s car suddenly gets a flat tyre on a deserted road. A group of miscreants begins troubling her. She bravely stands up to them and attempts to drive away, but they chase her. Just when the situation turns dangerous, Armaan arrives and confronts the men, getting into a physical fight to protect her. Shocked and curious, Abhira stops her car to see who has stepped in to save her.
