PROLOGUE
"BACHAO!",
the girl screamed as she hung from the second floor railing of the mall. The
girl was in her early twenties and was teasing and laughing with her friends
while leaning on the railing when her legs slipped and she fell backwards. Luckily
for her, one of her legs got in one of the wires nearby and she managed to not
fall to her death. But unluckily for her, there were not many people at her
floor and most people in the other floors would rather watch her dangle in the
air than go and help her. Her friends screamed and shouted but as they could
not reach her without falling to their own death they were totally helpless. The
girl hung upside down, the wire being the only thing keeping her alive right
now. But even that would not save her much as the wire was not used to carrying
so much weight and was totally ready to snap.
The girl screamed, her friends shouted and
people below watched the commotion with wide eyes, none of them having a single
thought about calling Police, Ambulance or Rescue people for help! But one man
refused to be one of those sheep who did nothing but watch. He refused to let a
girl die just because of everyone's inaction. He ran up the stairs and soon
reached the floor from where the girl was hanging. He pushed the friends away
and climbed the railing. Holding the railing with one hand he leaned ahead
trying to grasp the girl's leg with another. As he did this, his eyes flickered
downwards and his eyes widened at how far the ground looked. His brain reminded
him that the only thing between him and his death was his hand holding the
railing. He gulped but did not let his thoughts deter him from what he wanted
to do.
He bent a little and tried to grab the leg
of the girl. After three tries he grabbed it and the girl and her friends were
thankful that he grabbed her because right then the wire snapped. The man with
single hand pulled her up enough that her friends were able to grab her leg and
pull her up slowly. Once she was above enough, the man placed his hand on her
back and pushed her up making her upright. She grabbed the railing and gulped
the air as finally she was legs down and head up. The blood had rushed up her
head while hanging and she had been feeling dizzy. Finally she felt safe enough
and her friends helped her climb inside. Once she had floor underneath her, her
friends turned and thanked the man who saved their friend.
The man who had climbed inside by now simply
nodded and walked away. As he walked off, the girl looked at him with wide
eyes. He had saved her! Her eyes wide, she starred at the man who saved her
life. His face was burned into her memory and she smiled tenderly at the man
she lovingly nicknamed, "Prince". My Prince Charming!
Some days later, a man drove his car
rapidly. He had a meeting to attend! As he drove, he broke some signals but he
did not care! He drove as fast as he could! Just then his car crashed into a
scooty! He swore in anger as he got out of the car to assess the damage! As he
looked at the car and scooty he heaved a sigh of relief. Both car and scooty
was alright. No big damage! And just then a girl came right into his face and
started scolding him, "Aap dekh ke nahi chala sakte gaadi ko? Kisi ko lag jaati
toh? Aisi kya jaldi thi..." the girl continued to scold him but the man simply stared.
She was beautiful the man decided as he stared at her. The girl continued to
rant at him but the man did not care. Her eyes, her lips, her face and her
expression were all imprinted into his heart and all he could do was stare. "Dream
Girl", his mind whispered to him and he agreed with it. She is a dream girl!
His dream girl! His stare must have scared the girl because after few seconds
on ranting she quieted down and looked around uncomfortably. And then seeing
that the people were starting to gather, she ran off to her scooty and drove
off.
The man simply stared at the girl's
retreating back and would have stood there for ages if the car nearby had not
honked. The man came out of the trance and looked around in shock. The girl was
gone! And he did not even get her or her scooty's number. Now how will he find
her again? The man shook his head and got into his car all the while thinking
about the "Dream Girl".
And with that the
prologue ends!
Be ready tomorrow!
Because tomorrow you
