After coming from the wedding Pragya got busy in sorting out her pending work that was a lot due to her absence. She was coming late from office and Abhi was spending a lot more time in his music room. It was the fifth day after coming back; Pragya was as usual little late to come home. Her room was filled with alcohol smell and Abhi was lying on the couch in an uncomfortable position. Pragya changed into her night dress and helped Abhi to shift to the bed. They both ended up indulging in an act and once again no luck for Abhi.

Next day Pragya saw him packing his backpack. He was leaving for Bali for a week's trip. Abhi was famous for his backpack trips that he had started from his high-school days. He had traveled to lot of places in India and outside. Pragya had heard stories about his Laddhakh to Kanya-kumari journey on a motor-bike during his college days. He liked to visit different places to watch and learn the local music and instruments.

Before leaving for trip he asked Pragya to visit a gynecologist.

Pragya was confused though she knew she should visit a doctor for her issue but somehow it was too embarrassing for her to put her parts on display. She had taken the appointment but somehow ditched at the last minute.

After a week when Abhi was back, and once they settled in the room, he did ask her about the gynecologist. Pragya wasn't sure how to tell him that she was too embarrassed to show herself to a doctor but she did tell him. Her face turned into red, she was shy even to tell Abhi about it.

Abhi was amused to see her like this. She looked cute. He said its ok and kissed on her forehead.

Next day morning when Abhi got up, he saw Pragya was struggling with her sari. It was a beautiful pink sari.It had been some time for Abhi to try again the fruit of his marriage. Pragya had a small face but her eyes were big. Her lips were full and lustrous. And when she parted them, he couldn't stop himself from kissing them. Pragya was hesitant in the beginning but soon she also joined him. They kissed as if they had been doing this for ages. After a pause of few moments again they had a long kiss. This time Abhi got lucky, Prgaya could bear the pain and allowed him inside her. But Abhi thought to be very careful hence on to avoid the pregnancy.

It had been six months of Pragya's marriage. Her in-laws family had still not accepted her. No one used to acknowledge her presence in the house except Dadi. Her social life was limited to office parties. Sundays became the worst days of the week. Her husband was mostly away on his trips. He used to be in the city only for 10-12 days. His behavior was confusing Pragya a lot. There were times when he used protection and other times not. She wasn't sure what exactly he wanted. She had never expected from Abhi to be loyal to only her, neither it mattered for her. They were simply a couple who were mating for a reason and now that also was doubtful. Still Pragya used to miss Abhi a lot. Not only Pragya, everyone in the family, including staff used to miss him when he was away. Abhi in house, means, a house filled with laughter and happiness. Every meal time was fun time credit to his one-liners. He was often seen playing cricket and football with his nephews in the evenings. No wonder Mr. Mehra wanted his son to be back in Mehra Mansion.

Pragya had never noticed Abhi a lot worried about anything. A couple of minutes with his favorite guitar and he used to be back to normal. He was jovial with everyone except Pragya and her office team. While she could understand his frustration but still she could not be of any help about it. In fact now she had started feeling a bit guilty for him. Such a fun person had to go through so much because of her. Pragya was making him attend few office meetings now and then, but mostly he was quite during those meetings, he was just a good listener.

Pragya's frustration levels were increasing with each passing day. She was not able to conceive, mostly because of Abhi. She decided to talk to him directly once he would be back from his trip. After that only she was planning to visit a doctor.

One day Pragya got a call from Abhi to mail him scanned copy of few documents those were in his cupboard. While looking for those documents, Pragya found something else. Abhi had a girlfriend back in Canada. She wasn't sure if they were still involved but it seemed he was serious for her and wanted to settle down with her.

Pragya was already feeling guilty for Abhi for being an unwanted part in his life who snatched everything from him and made him live in a house he never wanted to return to and now his love life as well. She had never thought in her life that she could be a reason to come between two lovers.

This deal was all wrong to begin with, for both of them but it seemed to be cruel for Abhi. Pragya decided to take a decision once for all. She had a plan to come out of this deal in a clean manner but that would take a lot from Pragya's side. She carefully weighted all her options, her upcoming life and her dreams and decided to go for it. This time Abhi's happiness was also a main factor in her decision. One of the deal's clauses was, in case Pragya is medically proved to be unable to conceive, she would step down, all the properties would be back in Abhi's name and the couple would be entitled to get divorce.

Pragya was waiting for Abhi's return. She had come from office early and wasn't feeling well but still she didn't want to delay it further. When Abhi came in the room, Pragya discussed with him about this plan without mentioning about his girlfriend. She also said that anyways she was not able to conceive in all these months so this excuse could be for real as well. And if not then they would arrange the fake medical reports.
