A year passed for Nisha and Kabir's wedding. After consulting his wifey and thinking about the Gangwals, Kabir became a citizen of India after 2 months of their marriage and was staying with the Gangwals as he preferred being "Ghar Jamaai" and no one raised objection against this decision knowing that Kabir didn't want Nisha to separate from the family. All loved him for that. Kabir's entry in the house bought a few changes. Now Nisha had to share her room with Kabir, Laxmi and Ramesh needn't worry about Nisha anymore, Kabir's encouragement made Aman and Umesh start their restaurant and Kirti her fashion designing course. But the person that was unchanged was Nisha Gangwal, oops, Nisha Kabir Kumar. The Gangwals also were celebrating in happiness as Dolly was 5 months pregnant.
Kabir's mom came to know that Kabir was in India, but because of the support her son and daughter in law gave her, her past didn't haunt her anymore and she didn't mind Kabir knowing it. But Kabir wasn't interested in her past anymore, because he just wanted to make his mom happy, which she was after knowing that her son is married and he wanted to find his family and by marrying Nisha he got grandparents, 2 pairs of aunt and uncles, and 9 siblings. (Including Sumeet and Saurav, who were like his brothers and Aman, who was an older sister he always wanted)
Nisha worked at the shop and also participated in shooting and archery competition and adorned her house with many of the medals and trophies she won, making her family proud of her. Kabir started a small dance academy in Jaipur and also worked as a part time photographer and was an important part of Gangwal Jewelry Shop. For the rest of the world, they represented a perfect married couple, but when they entered the room, they turned into Tom and Jerry, what they actually preferred being. Though they always fought like Tom and Jerry, they avoided showing concern for each other like the cartoon pair did sometimes because they felt that they were just friends and nothing more. Fighting, bickering was their comfort zone which helped them avoid showing their feelings for each other.
Viraj had settled in Jaipur itself and married Kaira and was happy that Nisha chose Kabir over himself, when he saw them together anytime.
For the first 4 weeks, Nisha and Kabir took turns to sleep on the floor, for the next 3 weeks, they made a "share a bed, but stay in your limits" contract, according to which Nisha made a border of pillows dividing the bed into 2 halves. But both the restless souls, always performed a contemporary dance in their sleep and ended up throwing the pillows on floor and hugging each other. For those 3 weeks, Kabir used to wake up before Nisha, but Nisha used to hug him so tight, that if he moved, he would wake her up, so he would just replace himself with the pillows on the floor and continue sleeping on the little place on bed that was available, and when Nisha would wake up, taunt her for taking the whole bed and earn a slap from her. After these weeks, Nisha herself stopped keeping the pillows and now both had the whole bed to perform whatever dance form they wished and sleep hugging each other.
It was Holi. Nisha was depressed that day as she remembered how Viraj had taunted and insulted her the year before. Knowing her sadness and anger, the cousins avoided going near her. But Kabira had never bothered about the past, so why now? And if he didn't, why should his wifey?
Nisha was in her room.
Kabir- (dropping a whole container of red color on Nisha's head) Happy Holi wifey!!!
Nisha- (irratated) Kya hai yeh Kabir? Jaa yahan se. Humesha pareshaan karta rehta hai.
Kabir- (sitting beside her) Bade bhaiya ke baare mein soch rahi ho?
Nisha- hmmm...
Kabir- Arey, main pehle bhi keh chuka hoon, jo hua so hua. I know ki it's very difficult, but Nisha, one year has passed for our marriage, you have to move on.
Nisha-Move on kaise karun Kabir?
Kabir- For now, Chal humare saath holi khel.
Nisha- Mera mood nahi hai.
Kabir-(making the best cute puppy faces possible) please Nisha, please Nishu, please Wifey, please, please, please.
Nisha- (smiling) Sudhorege nahi na? Cute act ki dukaan, chal.
9 Jaws dropped one-by-one as they saw Nisha and Kabir walking down hand in hand with both their faces colored red. Nisha smiled at all of them.
Sukku (shocked)Nishu, tu thikh hai na?
Nisha- (confused)Mujhe kya hona hai?
Sukku- Nahi, tu last year ki wajah se upset thi, phir bhi Holi khelne aayi, isiliye pooch raha hoon.
Nisha sighed and looked at Kabir who had a proud expression on his face.
Kabir- (proudly) welcome, mujhe pata hai Nisha ko yahaan laane ke liye tum sab mujhe thanks bologe.
Jwala- Jiju, you are the best.
Kabir- (side hugging her) Thanks chutki, phirse per padu kya? (All laughed remembering how he touched her legs during the marriage)
Bunty- Chalo yaar Holi khelte hai. Pata hai Nishu di, Kabir jiju apke bina holi khelne ke liye bilkul ready nahi the.
Kabir- Arey, rasam hoti hai na, ki wifey ko humesha hubby pehle color lagayega, toh hubby ko pehle wifey hi color lagayegi na?
Nisha looked at Kabir. These small gestures of his made her feel special. No, she wasn't falling for him, but, somewhere in her heart, she had feelings for her weird hubby.
When everyone was busy applying color, throwing water at each other, dancing and singing, Sukku and Saurav moved away from there and mixed Bhaang in 2 glasses of thandai. As Dadaaji, Dadiji, Viren, Vimla, Ramesh and Laxmi had gone for a Holi function and Mohan and Rupan for a kitty party, there was no tension of being caught. The glasses were for Nisha and Kabir, so that they accept their feelings for each other. Both hi-fied and gave the glasses to the couple. Nisha walked to her room, with the glass in her hand to attend a call, and Kabir drinking the contents of the glass, stumbled and followed her upstairs. After attending the call, Nisha drank the bhaang and saw Kabir at the door looking at her weirdly.
Nisha- (drunk) Kya hua Kabira, mujhe aise kyun dekh rahe ho?
Kabir- (coming, rather stumbling and walking closer to her) Tujhe pata hai, tu bahut cute hai.
Nisha- (touching his cheeks) Tu bhi BAHUT cute hai. (screaming and stressing on Bahut')
Kabir- Thank you.
Nisha- Main bhi Thank you.
They both started laughing looking at each other's face. The cousins, downstairs, who were searching for NiBir ran upstairs. They found Nisha and Kabir sitting in a corner, and laughing for no particular reason.
Kirti- Inhone bhaang pi hai kya?
Saurav and Sukku looked at each other smirking and judging their expressions, Umesh slapped them.
Umesh- (holding their ears)Dimaag kharab ho gaya hai tum dono ka. Aisa behuda majaak bhi koi karta hai?
Aman- Kyun mere devaro ko pareshaan kar rahe ho? Inhone jo kiya sahi kiya. I hope, at least bhaang ke nashe mein they'll confess their feelings.
Saurav and Sukku thanked for the angel that their Aman bhabhi was and side hugged her.
Dolly- I have ideas.
Sumeet- (reading her mind and tensed) Don't tell me Dolly, are you serious?
Jwala- Kya hua Sumeet jiju, aap tensed kyun ho?
Dolly- Agar hum inki ek recording kare toh, I am assures ki tomorrow they'll forgives that they said today.
All- (except NiBir and Dolly) Dolly/ Dolly di I am assures ki tomorrow they'll forgives that they said today, nahi, I am sure that tomorrow they'll forget what they said today.
Dolly- Sorry, sorry.
Kirti, Aman, Jwala, Sukku and Saurav agreed to the idea while Umesh, Bunty and Sumeet disagreed.
Umesh- Sumeet, dhyaan se, pata nahi Dolly ke ideas ka tere hone waale bacche par kya asar hoga.
Sumeet and Dolly blushed while others laughed, but the sound of their laughter was nothing compared to the sound of the laughing drunkards.
Nisha- Aur tujhe yaad hai, jab tujhe skin allergy hue the, tu na bilkul kharab lag raha tha, mujhe toh tujhe taqleef mein dekhkar rona aaya tha.
Kabir- Kaise bhul sakta hoon, tu poora din mere aas paas ghum rahi thi.
Nisha-(keeping her head on Kabir's shoulder) Agar tujhe kuch bhi hua na, toh mujhe bahut taqleef hoti hai.
Aman- (whispering in Umesh's ears) Ab bhi tumhe lagata hai that we shouldn't record?
Umesh quietly removed his cell from his pocket and started shooting NiBir's antics.
Kabir- (making Nisha face him, softly) Pata hai tu iss duniya ki sabse beautiful, amazing, caring, lovable and best wifey ho.
Nisha- aur tum iss duniya ke best hubby ho.
Kabir- Nishu, I love you.
Nisha-(started crying)- Tumne pehle kyun nahi bola? Idiot. I love you too.
Kabir- Woh mujhe laga ki tum abhi bhi Bade Bhaiya se pyaar...
Nisha- main Viraj sir ko sirf pasand karti thi, ab nahi karti duffer. Main sirf tumse pyaar karti hoon.
She kissed his cheek and he kissed her forehead.
Nisha- Kabir mere sarr mein bahut dard ho rah hai, main sone jaa rahi hoon.
Kabir- Main bhi so jaata hoon, tumhare saath.
Nisha- Ab tum toh humesha mere saath ho, hai na?
Kabir- (lightly hitting his head with her) Humesha.
They both moved and slept on the bed hugging each other.
Sumeet- Bas, ab toh neeche chalo, love birds ko privacy do yaar.
All moved downstairs. Umesh sent the video to all the cousins.
Bunty- Par kal inhe kuch yaad nahi hoga, toh what's the use of this recording?
Sukku- Chote janaab, apne Kabir jiju ke saath rehkar tu bhi pagaal hota jaa raha hai.
Bunty- Dekho, Kabir jiju ko kuch mat bolo.
Umesh- Arrey, this recording will help us...(pointing towards Aman)

Umesh, Aman, Dolly, Sumeet, Saurav and Kirti- Woh sab hum bado par chodo.
Sukku- Tum log jaao, Jwala tu science pad aur Bunty, tu cricket khel.
Bunty and Jwala- Par?
Kirti- How blah! Tum dono school mein padhte ho na? toh pehle apne school teachers se pooch, Jaao, Bhaago yaha se. (After they go) But sahi hai guys, how should we go with this?
