Thank you so much darling :) I've heard elders say that the bad things happen for the best. It's a sign of realization and major transformation. So don't worry, good things are on the way ;)

Das, who had been smugly watering his plants from a long-spouted can was startled out of his wits when someone tore in violently through the front gate of his dainty little home and bounded towards him with the desperate need to kill. His fat, flab, hairy torso was shirtless and all what he had on him was a tight, awkward pair of shorts.
Nandini stomped towards the man and wiped off his dumbfounded gape with a HUGE eye-popping SLAP to his face. Her hand was small yet powerful. Very powerful. It floored him like a huge steak of meat. His favourite water can got kicked off to oblivion!
She grabbed a fistful of his meaty skin, pulled him onto his butts and landed another EAR SPLITTING SLAP. Her vicious blows had already left a dark imprint across his sagging, beefy cheeks.
"Nandini... beta... just listen to me..." he pleaded weakly. But that earned him another DEAFENING SLAP.
And another.
And another.
And another.
"I'll kill you bas***d! I'll f**king kill you!" She hissed the angry words like a mantra again and again as she continued to shower him with blow after blow. Remorselessly. Mercilessly. Endlessly. She was mad. Senseless. Overwhelmed with rage and grief.
By now, the man's wife had heard the ruckus and came running out of the house. "You! What the hell! What the hell are you doing? Stop! I said stop it! How dare you touch him! Leave him alone! Don't you dare!!!" She tugged at the violent girl, desperate to pry her off her husband but ended up butts-down on the hard ground.
Nandini was unstoppable. She balled up the meaty bag of buttery boobs hanging around the man's chest and forced him onto his butts again. "It's fun, right? Fun to water your f**king plants knowing that you've screwed up someone's happiness. My happiness! Isn't it you goddamn mother f**ker!!!!"
WHACK! Das flopped to the ground like a sack of rice after earning another blow from hell.
"You nasty bitch! How dare you lay your hands on my husband? I won't spare you!!! I'll sue you for this!!! I'll throw your entire family behind bars! Do you know who my brother is!!!? He's the superintendent of police!!! I'll see to it that he fixes you up!!! I'll make you suffer!!!" The wife was furious.
"Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" Nandini spat fiercely at his wife. "Are you seriously trying to justify this fat bas***d? Do you want to know what he did? Ask him!"
The wife looked dubious now. Her husband's guilty face did no good to pacify her. Did he do something... stupid?
"And you want to fix ME? Fix HIM first. Before the rest of us do!"
The ghastly sight of a tiny young lady unleashing her super human strength onto a flabby middle-ager had attracted attention from all angles. A lot of curious dumbfounded gapes had stopped by the gate. It was the 21st century where a lot of women were taken advantage of. So obviously, if a girl like Nandini had to beat the shit out of a guy like Das, there was more to the picture.
"What? What happened?" enquired many of the intrigued onlookers.
"What's the matter?"
"Why did she hit him?"
Tons of curious questions. But Nandini chose to ignore them and shoulder away her shaking self as far as she could.

Loud, angry voices from the living room brought Manik out of his slumber with a start. It took him a while to register that something wasn't right.
"Where the hell have you hidden him? Tell him to step out! F**king coward!"
"Sir... please let me explain..." Nyonika spoke in a hushed quaky voice.
"Leave that to me," came his harsh reply.
Manik pulled open his groggy eyes and tipped his head up. Is something wrong? He so badly wanted to sleep more. He very much needed it to stay awake through the night. But the voices outside kept pushing at him, urging him to get up and check it out. Anyways I need a drink, he thought as he got out of bed and staggered out to the living room.
"Mom...?" he croaked wearily and rubbed the back of his head. "What's wro...?" His words trailed to a pause as he noticed a police jeep roll out of his premises. His mother was shaking and had a hand cupped over her quivering mouth to stifle the whimpers that were desperate to make its way out. She was literally in tears.
"Ma? What's wrong? What happened?" Manik was really worried now. He wasn't feeling sleepy any longer.
Nyonika quickly shut the door to ward off happy, prying eyes from the neighbourhood before turning to Manik with her furious, tear-stricken face. "This was the last straw! I've never felt so humiliated in my entire life before!" She was trembling with a jumble of emotions - anger, humiliation, fear and a ton of others.
"Can you just tell me what's going on? Why was the police here?" Manik asked impatiently. Something was seriously wrong and he secretly wished that Nandini had nothing to do with it.
"What else could it be but your dear friend Nandini!" she shot furiously. "Do you know who that cop was? I'm sure you've seen him before. He's the superintendent of police. And he also happens to be the brother-in-law of Mr. Das. The guy who was beaten black and blue this morning by that crazy friend of yours!"
"What? Beaten black an--- Shhhiiit..." Manik screwed his eyes shut and hissed in disbelief. "What the hell is wrong with this girl?" he muttered under his breath.
"Let me make it quite plain Manik," Nyonika said sternly. "Henceforth. You are not to see her or talk to her or make any kind of contact with her. Is that clear?"
"Mom, be practical." He gestured her to stop with the bullshit. "She's my friend. Not a leper."
"Friend!!!" Nyonika was infuriated. "Is this what a friend does? Get her friend and his family into trouble? Humiliate them?"
"Mom, are you telling me that she did this all on purpose!!!?"
"Are you trying to justify her?" she blasted.
"Can I at least talk to her and find out what's happening?" Manik stated wearily. He so badly wanted to get to the bottom of this.
"No!" she ordered. "And when I say no it means no!"
"Just be quiet," he snapped irritably and rubbed his throbbing temples.
"Don't you dare tell me what to do Manik!" Nyonika was literally bouncing on her toes in fury. "If I had remained quiet that cop would have dragged you out of this home, thrown you behind bars and straightened you up like an iron rod!"
"And why the hell should he do that? I haven't done anything!"
"Why do you even think that it's necessary to be guilty?" Nyonika had an angry smirk on her lips. "And as if that's not enough, her crazy stepmother called me up and said the shittiest things I've ever had to endure in my whole life!"
"Who? Aunty?" Manik wasn't feeling any better with this new revelation. He now knew that things were certainly out of hand. The little bit of hope he had... had just vanished.
"Hmph! Aunty!!!" Nyonika spat scornfully. "I won't blame your dear friend or her benevolent step or anyone else. I would blame you. You! You are solely responsible! You should have taught them their place."
"Mom, can you please just stop it? It's enough. Really..." Manik was desperate to make his mum shut up. Once she flew off the hook, there was no stopping her! "Her stepmom is... is... she's crazy. I'll only be surprised if it doesn't drive the girl up the wall!"
"Good! Very good!" Nyonika said sarcastically. "Keep supporting her. For all the atrocities she commits. Girls should be well-behaved. Well-mannered. Polite. Courteous. Not like your so called friend. Running around like a wild mare."
"Mom! What are you even talking about? Just stop with this crap. Please." Manik was irritated.
"Go ahead. Now I'm senseless. I'm the fool. I'm talking crap. Your friend and her actions are absolutely fine. You know what? I should have just let that cop take you away. A couple of days behind bars and a nice thrashing should have set you straight!" Nyonika's eyes were red and watery. They glared ferociously from behind her pink and white plastic rimmed glasses.
"Would you like me to go now?" Manik snapped back. "Do you want me to get straightened up now? Behind bars!!!???"
"Do you want to go? Then go! Get out! Get lost!!!"
"Fine," he muttered, bustled to his room, picked up his phone and stormed out.
"Go to hell!" Nyonika screamed angrily. "And don't you ever come back again!"

It took a good few minutes of brisk, blind walking to bring Manik back to normal. Sort of. He was still pissed off.
On one hand, Nandini has problems with her step and here I've got problems with my mom. Are all women like this? Full of bat shit?
Manik pulled out his phone to call up Nandini. And that's when he noticed the long thread of messages and desperate number of missed calls.
"Twenty missed calls?" he mumbled in disbelief.
"Manik... please answer my call... I want to talk to you..."
"Where are you? Please answer!!!!"
"You died or what? Pick up!!!"
"Why aren't you answering my calls? At least reply to my messages!"
"I'm so sorry buddy. I'm very-very sorry. I know that you're mad at me for all the shit that my step said. And it's my fault. You warned me but I didn't listen to you. I deserve this. I can understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore."
"I don't want to live anymore! I want to die. It's all over. This was all what was left. For the first time, my Appa hit me. And now you... I've lost you too. I deserve it. I don't deserve to be happy."
Manik was genuinely worried now. He could now see how far things had reached. Beyond repair. He quickly dialled and waited for her to answer his call.
No answer.
"Come on," he muttered and dialled her again. "Come on-come on. Answer the call."
No answer. He grew increasingly worried. I don't want to live anymore... I want to die... Her messages kept flashing before his eyes. What if she did something stupid?
