TB:BJP MP compares SRK with Pakistani terrorist Hafiz

BJP praises Shah Rukh Khan, disapproves of Adityanath's comment comparing the actor with Hafiz Saeed

The BJP on Wednesday strongly disapproved of the controversial comments its MP Adityanath comparing Shah Rukh Khan with Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed, terming them "uncalled for" which did not reflect in any way the core belief of the party or Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Heaping praise on the Bollywood superstar, who was also attacked by senior party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on Tuesday, BJP said there cannot be any comparison between a law-abiding Indian citizen and a Pakistani terrorist.

"There cannot be any comparison of any law-abiding Indian citizen with a terrorist like Hafiz Saeed, certainly not Khan who is a much loved and respected Indian national and artiste," BJP spokesman Nalin Kohli said.

How can a so called supposedly responsible MP equate a law abiding citizen to another country's branded terrorist??

I can bet on anything that Sharukh doesn't even half believe in whatever he said...His movie is coming in another month and the intelligent man has by now learned how to keep himself in the headlines in both the stupidly fanatic nations where he is expecting to draw most results from...And all these stupid politicians are foolishly playing to his tunes by adding the fuel into the fire...I don't think Sharukh is complaining about all this footage...And 90% of the population are anyways supporting him and calling out on the politicians for the foolish remarks they are going on making...Win-win for Sharukh!

As a citizen of India Sharukh has every right to express his thoughts on what he thinks about the country...But I only wish, as a celebrity he didn't air his views so publicly...Now the minorities will feel all the more insecure as just imagine if a person of SRK's stature is finding so much intolerance, what of the common man??? Not to mention the hurt experienced by the majority who support him and consider everybody a Indian irrespective of their religion... I don't think that is the way to boost confidence of a common man by raising fears...He is a intelligent and law-abiding man with tons of money and power...I am sure he could find a way ,if he wants to,in helping the tolerance grow instead of just airing his dissatisfaction and doing nothing about it...

I cant deny that I am a wee bit disappointed in SRK!
