Chapter 6
***Flashback***
it took a moment for her to register the words spoken by her uncle...her eyes were cold in fear...in fear of losing kabir..losing her love..
"uncle yeh aap kya keh rhe ho...main ese kaise shaadi kr sakti hun..main ...main..."she couldn't find words to explain her situation..
"are nisha ...beta...main abhi tumhe shaadi karne ko thode hi keh rha hu...main to bas tumhare sagai ke baare mein baat kr rha tha..ladka bhot acha h...rich bhi h...aur tum jab college aur aage ki padhai kar logi to shaadi kr lena..."said her uncle in casual tone...
"hoga acha uncle pr main usse sagai nhi kar sakti...main ...main kisi aur se pyaar karti hu.."nisha said and waited for him to see the reaction of her words..
His eyes shot anger listening to her words...maine jab tuhare liye wo ladka chuna h..to tumhari shaadi usi se hogi..that's it mujhe isse aage aur kuch nhi sunna...aur behtar hoga ki tum uss ladke ko bhool jayo..warna bhot badi musibat mein pad jaogi...aur musibat uske liye bhi ho sakti h...he said in a harsh tone giving her an open threatning...
"nhi chachu nhi...main sirf aur sirf kabir se pyaar karti hu...shadi karungi to usi se karoongi..aap mujhe uss ladke se issiliye sagai karwa rhe h taki aap ki party ko fayda ho..ane wale elections mein..mujhe bhi aap ne iss liye rakha h taki aap mere se wo property le sako..."nisha said spitting out her anger...
"wah..nisha..thats good jab tum janti hi ho..to do as i say...tumhare papa ne yhi to galti ki thi..marne se phle apni property tumhare naamm karke chale gaye...ab jao apne kamre mein..and listen tum kl subah college nhi jaogi...maine unhe lunch mein bulaya h..wo tumhe dekhne aa rhe h..better be ready..."
nisha ran to her room banged the door close and slid down the door crying...mom dad aap kyun chale gaye mujhe chod ke..agar aap hote to mujhe ye sab kuch nhi sehna padta...aap mujhe bhi apne saath hi kyun nhi le gaye...she cried bitterly..thinking ablout her parents and her kabir...how will she come out of this situation..
the whole conversation was heard by umesh who had a disbelief for his father and concern about nisha...he knew how much nisha loved kabir and could not bear his dearest sister to see in pain...but he was helpless...what could he do...?????
the next morning nisha became busy in preparing meals..for the guests...her heart was loaded with pain...
here kabir was hell frusted and worried as well as nisha was not picking up his phone from last night...he called him over a hundredth time and threw his phone in tension...is she angry wid me??? he thought..but then yesterday only we had a good time and she was quitee happy...or is she busy?? may be for umesh's marriage..but then...she said she's going next week...then why is she not answering his calls...he very well knew nisha could not stay even 1 hr without talking with him...then what happenened suddenly???...numerous questions and worries were clouding in his mind...she didn't even come to college...is she unwell?? is she in some trouble??? his heart questioned...but what??
in nisha's house..
the guests shortly arrived it was..mr. raghav singhania and his only son...sarav singhania...
they were heartly welcomed by vijay gangwal and umesh..they were having talks about various matters..when a desperate saurav asked.."umm..uncle where is nisha??..he asked in a low voice..
"nisha is just..coming..umesh ja beta nishu ko le aa.." umesh came down alongwith an emotionless nisha...who with great difficulty tried to plaster a sad smile on her face...she was wearing a beautiful pink anarkali...saurav was stunned seeing her soo simple yet gorgeous...but he noticed the fake smile on her face...and saw that her eyes were speaking something else...an entire different story...
nisha served them tea and snacks..when mr. raghav suggested that the kids should be left alone for a while to talk while they get down to fix the engagement dates...
nisha and saurav went to the garden..nisha remained silent all the while and saurav tried to observe her emotions...just then kabir came to her house to check whether she was fine..as his heart was giving him negetive signs..and he was right!!
nisha felt his presence and turned around...she saw him near the gate...a beautiful smile crept her lips and without giving a second thought she ran to him and threw herself in his embrace...she felt as af life came back to him..she felt hom..in his strong protective..kabir just hugged her tight...
saurav noticed this and he was not a bit surprised...he expected something like this to be the answer of nisha's fake smile and her silence...he was happy that he came to know about nisha loving someone else before their engagement as it wpuld have spoiled both of their lives...
Nibir broke their hug and saw saurav looking at them...nisha took them both to the garden and sat there explaining them both her situation..and her uncle's plan to get access to her father's property...umesh came there and assured her that everything will be allright...kabir took her in a hug and promised her that he would never let anything wrong happen with her...
"mujhe pta h kabir ki tere hote hue mujhe kabhi kuch nhi ho sakta...ab tu jaa...isse pehle ki tujhe chachu dekh le...kl baat karte h.."
***Present***
"kabir...tab bhi tumne mujhe mere problems se bachaya tha...aaj bhi tum hi is badi musibat se mujhe bahar nikaloge...khud ko mere paas wapas lautakar...pls..pls aankhein kholo kabir...she said caressing his hairs...and his face.."aur nhi seh sakti main tumhari ye khamoshi...this silence of yours is killing me kabir...tumhe pta h na tumse baat kiye bina...tumhari baaten sune bina main ek pal bhi nhi reh sakti.." tears gushed through her eyes..
"pls kabir pls uth na..pls uth ja"...nisha kept crying bitterly keeping her head on kabir's chest as he lay unconscious...on the bed...
she cried for sometime...and then got up and wiped her tears...kabir agar tu nhi utha..na to main tere se phir kabhi baat nhi karungi...agar tu mere se baat nhi karna chahta to theek h ja...aise hi lete reh...she said annoyingly...
