"Of course you can. After all this is the most precious gift of my life from you." She said smiling.

Viraf made her wear that pendant and his fingers gently touched her back. Both felt shivers down their spines. Viraf looked at her in the mirror and was again lost in her smiling and beautiful face. "Diamonds are a girl's best friend you know." She said chirpily.

"And a diamond on a diamond confuses me which is prettier."

"Accha..to kaun sa diamond pretty hai zyada?" she asked in the same tone.

"My one.." And he hugged her tightly from her back. Chhavi smiled.

"You are always that big flirt na?"

"Not for everyone...just for you babe." And he faced her. Turning her face to him and holding her chin gently he said, "Mere diamond se jyada khoobsurat aur shinning diamond is poore universe mein kahan hai?"

"Sach.."

"Much..." And his next target was her face. He gently brushed his lips on her forehead then he went downwards and kissed both her eyes and eyelids. His lips travelled down and discovered a new route on her face and he came down to kiss her ears and the cute nose. His lips came down to a halt on her chin and the corner of her lips. Soon he paused and had a full look at her face as if he wanted her permission to continue further. Her signal was hidden in her closed eyes which she was unable to open because of the intensity of his passion which was making her unable to look into his eyes. He waited for her response but she still kept her eyes closed and it gave him a positive signal. Soon his lips were an inch apart from hers...the gap between their lips was almost about to close..

"Viraf...bolo to kaise lag rahi hoon." Her shout brought him back to the real world. "Kahan khoye hue to tum? Kitne der se tumhara naam bula rahi hoon." This was the umpteenth time when she called him and this time not only called him but also shook him to bring him out of his dream world.

'Oh god...pagal ho raha hoon main kya kya sochta hoon. Abhi Chhavi ko pata chal jata na to pakka mujh se bahut gussa ho jati and thank god maine aisa koi kaand nahi kia.' He mentally slapped himself for having those ideas.

"Hey bhagwaan...what's wrong with you ab kya hua hai?"

"Nooo nothing..." he said almost shouting.

"Are kya hua? You angry ki I shouted on you?" she asked.

"No not like that...actually tum na ...tum itni acchi lag rahi thi ke I was speechless."

"Oh..ab itna bhaav bhi mat bhadao mera."

"No truly...you know na I never lie."

"Yes I know." She said smiling.

"Hey here is the box of this pendant keep it safely." He handed her the box and she was shocked.

"This must be expensive...it's Tiffany's na?" He nodded. "To kya jaroorat thi itna expensive gift lane ki?"

"It's pretty fine Bak Bak Pandey tum itna socha mat karo. I bought the best thing which suits you after all you are a diamond as well."

"Fir bhi Viraf you could have brought something small ye...it's really expensive and precious you know main...".

"Now just shut up and have your gift. Zyada socha mat karo samjhi." He hit her forehead playfully.

"But...".

"Mera diamond jyada pretty hai and costly bhi is diamond se na to?"

"Your diamond kaun?"

"You." He said smiling.

"Oh enough of your flirting." She said giving him a light slap on his hands.

Freddy interrupted them. "May I disturb you both?"

"Nahi nahi bilkul nahi." Viraf said.

"Disturb to karoonga."

"Then why do u even ask?" Viraf said irritatingly.

"Tu itna irritate kyun ho raha hai?" he asked teasing him intentionally.

"Nahi main kahan irritate ho raha hoon?"

"Toh chal sab almost aa chuke hain. Tujhe cake bhi kaatna hai na aur teri special guest bhi aa chuki hai na, so you have no issues in cutting the cake na?" he reminded him about it.

Chhavi gave a look to Viraf and he gave a sheepish smile, "I'm sorry but you know na he is my best friend so I can't hide anything from him." He said.

"Yes he can't even if he tries toh bhi nahi."

Chhavi smiled, "I know friends aise hi hote hain."

"To ab zyada wait na karte hue sab chalte hain aur cake kaat te hain."

Chhavi smiled and so did Viraf and both followed Freddy. He found Sodhi ji still not in the party. He dialed his number, "Sodhi ji kahan hain aap?"

"Oye Viru kahin kaam me fus gaya tha bus abhi nikla hoon it will take time. Tu aisa kar mundayein cake cut kar le. Don't keep everyone waiting."

"But aap ke aaye bina kaise?"

"It's ok tu kar le na cake cut main nahi chahta sab wait karein meri vajah se."

"Fine then be here quickly."

"Yes boss." Both laughed and he hung up.

"So kitne der me aa rahe hain Sodhi ji?" she enquired.

"Woh nikal chuke hain and it will take time. So he told me to cut the cake."

"But unke bina?" she said.

"He said he didn't want everyone to wait so it's better we cut the cake." Viraf said. Chhavi smiled understanding perfectly.

Now it was time to cut the cake and Vahbiz excused herself to bring a lovely big black forest cake which was Chhavi's favorite and she was surprised to see that. "It was your birthday not mine." She said in his ears.

"Ek hi baat hai, vaise bhi jab chief guest aisa ho to kuch to us ki pasand ka hona chahiye."

Chhavi smiled and he cut the cake finally and everyone wished him happy birthday. The first piece of cake he fed Chhavi. His fingers touched her lips gently and again both felt the same sensations in their bodies. His fingers touched her skin inside her mouth making her feel a bit different about his feelings. Just the same as she had felt sometime ago but she herself doesn't know why for the first time her heart signaled her to move ahead with him and enjoy this moment. They were so engrossed that they failed to notice everyone was watching them and it seemed that they could easily make a story about it at which Freddy teased him, "Main bhi yahan hoon. 'Be mujhe bhool gaya."

Viraf and Chhavi's gaze broke and Viraf said, "Haan tujhe koi dekhna kaise bhool sakta hai?"

"Haan itni asaani se nahi." And next he stuffed a big piece of cake into his mouth.

Chhavi and everyone laughed when Viraf finished the piece of cake in his mouth. He just took some cream of it and applied at Freddy's face. At which response Freddy too applied the cream of the cake on his face. Chhavi thought to enjoy it as well. She did the same thing with Viraf which surprised him. He stopped for a few minutes and seeing Chhavi laughing her heart out, he was once again drowning in her eyes.

"Viraf kya dekh raha hai? Us ko bhi laga na cake." Freddy suggested and finally he realized what was said to him. Now it was his turn to play the same game with Chhavi. Chhavi was horrified. She hadn't realized that it's going to return back to her.

"No Viraf...you know I have to go home as well."
