Oh!! that's nice to know ..I so love those carefree days when we would have crush on the next handsome guy we meet and start weaving dreams and then in a few days he would be gone romping away with a gf and we would be heartbroken. Again we would repeat the cycle with one more handsome hunk.

I wish you get a partner of your dreams and I really pray you do. My take based on my experience would be accept the person as a whole with his goodness, vulnerabilities and flaws and that would make your life spicy, sweet and sour. As I always say , life is not about some days, dates, its a journey that two people undertake together so you will need to find happiness in small things and ignore small hiccups.
