Ananya had a sleepless night as she felt butterflies in her stomach. She had got up in the morning and managed somehow to get ready and join everybody at the breakfast table but she was saddened looking at her sister Shefali's face. She had fallen for the wrong guy and her experience few days back had been traumatic but Ananya was sure she would be able to bring her out of it.
It was almost going to be 4pm and Ananya was still unable to choose what she would wear on her first date with Akash. Yes, Ananya was elated after Akash confession and she was in cloudnine when he had officially asked her out on a date. She had met so many times Akash earlier and they had a quite lunch or dinner together but she had never felt this way. She smiled to herself thinking that she still had those butterflies the first time they had gone out on a lunch but this time just that the speed had increased. This time probably their proximity had increased and there was this physical, emotional all bundled in together attraction which was confusing her. She was surprised the other day when Akash was about to fly to Mumbai and have a stopover there, he had pulled Ananya to a corner and held her hands and said "Love, will miss you.take care".Ananya's thoughts had got muddled at that endearing way he addressed and the first time she had felt confused and happy errr...no happy but a little confused..she was still not sure. Akash perhaps had known better and he had smiled looking at her expressions and said "Now I want you to know what it is to have a boyfriend and not boys who are friends". At that Ananya had retorted back after coming back to her senses "What makes you think that I don't know what it is to have boyfriends".Akash had laughed his uber sexy laugh and said "oh well, then tell me what does boyfriends do for their girlfriends".Ananya afraid of further being questioned had pushed him saying "go, you will now report late for your flight". Grudgingly he had moved a few steps and then turned back and shocking Ananya had given a peck on her left cheek and whispered huskily "I am just not your bf but your life partner and I am going to sweep you off your feet, just wait n watch".Ananya was shocked would be an understatement, she felt as if she was seeing herself as the CIndrella in the fairytale she grew up hearing during her kindergarten days. Akash had come back the night before and called up Ananya for a date officially as her beau. She was seated infront of the mirror smiling for the last 20 minutes lost in the beautiful moments but as she realized that she had just 40mins to get ready she smacked herself and rushed off to get freshened up.
Sharp at 5pm Akash had called her informing her that he was waiting outside and if she was fine he would want to come inside and meet her family. Few minutes later Akash stood inside her house looking handsome as ever in his white t-shirt and brown jacket with blue denims .He was at ease with Ananya's family members and sometimes Ananya was jealous the way he got along with people so quickly but that was the way Akash was.Ananya had finally decided on wearing a peach colored sleeveless kurta with a polka dotted long skirt complemented with some chunky lac bangles and long earrings. Akash had given an appreciative glance when she came out and then finally with Ananya's family's permission taken her out. As he drove his SUV, Akash gave side glances to Ananya who seemed to have taken a sudden interest in the designs of her purse. Smiling at her he had pulled Ananya's hand in his strong male palms and brushed his lips long her fingertips causing Ananya to blush from her nail tips to her toes but he would not let her hand go and then finally had taken her to a lakeside restaurant as the evening sun was about to set. Ananya could never remember such a beautiful evening since long and they both had held their arms and sat on the riverside talking about everything and nothing. As the sun had set , Akash had pulled Ananya closer and she had willingly placed her head on his broad chest listening to his hearbeat and they had sat there in silence hearing their hearts for hours. Finally realizing that it was getting late they had unwillingly pulled themselves up to the restaurant and had their dinner. As they made their way back Akash had brought two velvet boxes, one had a gift from him a beautiful platinum bracelet studded with small diamonds and the other had contained Ananya's lucky charm, her grandfather's gift which she had left at the Jaipur hotel. Ananya was spellbound as she never expected that she would get back her lucky charm again and she had tears of happiness in her eyes as she hugged Akash and he also hugged her back comforting her sensing her emotional turmoil. After a while Akash pulled her back wiping away her tears and said "Love , you look so beautiful today evening don't spoil it with your tears, I want to see your precious smile ...at least smile if you liked my other gift.".Ananya smiled as Akash put the bracelet on her arm kissing the insides of it making Ananya blush again and seeing her blush Akash said "I cannot wait now" and immediately went down on his knees asking Ananya "Will you marry me ..my Rulebook ".Ananya laughed out at the mention of Rulebook and nodded her head in a yes. On hearing this Akash took her in a bone crushing hug and then took her face in his palms and said in a broken voice "I am sorry to have hurt you Ananya in my quest for the terrorist in Inde Air,more than you I hurt myself ".Ananya silenced him by placing a finger on his lips and said "Akash u should never say sorry for this and we had promised to make new beginnings so no more all this". Saying this she finally slammed her soft pink lips on the warm ones who was equally eager tonight and as the moon and stars stood witness to their first passionate kiss , two souls touched each other today after facing lot of obstacles and hardships. As Akash drove Ananya back home, he showed Ananya her hairband but refused to give it back till they get married and she comes to her home for ever. Ananya smiled thinking how perfect her first evening with Akash , her beau has been, she had known so much about the lover Akash, the fact that he had fallen in love almost the same time she had experienced the flutter in her heart for him.
