Well Hammie. Alhamdulillah ..Finally I am able to comment on your wonderful post.

Although I didn't watch the first part yet..I still feel that the second part was the most important one.
yes awida , i too was engaged by tripurari's conflict.. his dialogues were so powerful.. i thought of you if you could understand.. one in particular was potent.. dashrant he says to his mother.. wants our souls.. your devotion and my trust!
For the first time I felt for Tripurari. How can a father call his son a dog ? How can he look at him and his mom so low? Dashrath is an animle. And I am still shocked that he is a Godman. I mean those who know God can't be so mean. But sadly some are like this only.
trips is also compared to a crow who may be fed special food ,but it still pokes its beak in filth! later.. dash.also hints a dog is more faithful than him..
I still feel that Tripurari's mom has her own story and she has to tell her son. For what she consider DT as a God? Why does she believe in him? After all he doesn't accept her and her son infront of society! But I know this also happens. Even in my country ..secret marriages , hidden kids happen here too. It is very bad. Some men don't respect women. yes this is the issue that cvs want to throw light on.

On the other hand Ashram scene was a delight to watch. Viplav and Tania were all smiles and jokes..they lightened widows' lives by their presence. Even Dhani came to life after she met with Viplav. No more crying..she stands tall now..you described this beautifully by your words which I can't match. What you wrote about Viplav made me feel proud of him..as if he was my son. Also I am happy that you shared these beautiful ideas and feelings about Viplav who really changed alot.
you pointed out a very key transformation in dhani , awida..👏 which i sort of overlooked..
I want my piece of chocolate too..but I have to wait till tomorrow.
i think we all want some choc tomm.. dairy milk is my fav!😆
BTW. I couldn't believe that watching a show can change a person's life..but after watching the 2nd part of this episode I felt free , happy and strong.. I fought my own battle and finally won. Alhamdulillah. amen.. yes strange. these show entertain and provide healing too.. thanks so much for your x2 lovely comments awida.. much love hammie

why this post ended 😆...lots o love hammie 🤗

Today's episode reminded me of moral study lessons in school. I would say to myself but I already know about these boring issues.. my mum and dad too drummed them in my brain when I was in my home environment. I had expected something more challenging than being told to tell fibs is wrong. One must keep a promise if one makes one. for when I was a child I was told not to tell a lie it is bad, full stop; it's when I started growing up the significance and seriousness of falsehood, dawned on me .That to lie is to conceal the truth. I also learnt that lying and concealing facts can be done for various reasons . One of them can be to protect the one we love from hurt. We can lie also to benefit personal gain and above all to spare ourselves from some form of punishment. Lastly to prevent our own image from being tarnished, or to land someone else in trouble. That whichever way I saw it to lie was immoral, and when it is revealed someone does smart. So better to speak the truth it sets you free! The other issue that is touched upon in this episode is that of making a promise. When a pledge is made, the person who makes it, is duty bound either to himself or to the other party he makes the promise too..

such a sensitive issue hammie...u know i too think like this..in childhood we are told not to lie..but the personal experience we garner throughout the period while we are growing up, exposed to the world and its realities, the value of lieing at certain situations differ our mindset...i agree truth should be said every time as lies most probably will unfold and can backfire..but still i respect and support lieing at certain situations..best choice...

Hammie

Very well written take. I enjoyed reading it very much.

Tripurari is really the "ari" (enemy) of the "tri-pura," the three cities. Traditionally, the word Tripurari means the one who is the conqueror of the waking, dream and deep sleep states, but here we can extend the meaning to include three states of being of Dasharath Tripathi --DT's external presentation of himself as the greatly adored mahant, his presentation of himself at home as the loving patriarch, and finally his true self as a pathetic, narcissistic, and insecure old man, who terrorizes everyone in a show of power and wealth. Tripuari will expose these three states of Dasharath, as sure as his darts hit the larger-than-life poster of his father adorning his small tenement. That DT's photo is larger than life is symbolic of his own persona --DT occupies space and dominates every environment that he is in.

Practice makes perfect, and the dart practice shots at the photo of the father prophesy that the public persona of the mahant as genial family man and the loving grandpa are going to be taken down. The prodigal son is not returning home, more obedient and compliant; on the contrary, Tripurari Tripathi is dreaming of celebrating a homecoming of a different kind, where he is accepted, welcomed, and loved --where he is given everything that belongs to him, starting with a last name that is rightfully his. A pragmatic man, Tripurari has no romantic delusions that all this will be handed to him on a gilded platter. Therefore he is prepared to threaten DT by exposing him, or taking from him what is most dear to him --DT's own life.

DT is a real enigma. A scion of a reputed brahmin family of head priests, DT is resting on the laurels of his ancestors, and therefore can get away with everything illegal immoral, and illicit. Behind the veneer of the genial humming grandpa and the mahant that is always in service of the people, DT is a terrified and insecure human being who has powerfully projected his own fears and desires on the most vulnerable section of the society, the religiously and culturally disenfranchised, the poor, and the widows. By some crooked logic, the objects of his desire and temptations become not victims, but perpetrators of impurity. The tender underbelly of societal temptations is managed by the rich through a unique relationship with the prey. The predator hunts during the light of the day by publicly tearing the reputation of the prey to shreds, and unseen, under the cover of the silent night, which conspires to hide the deeds of the famous, the predator seduces and consumes the prey, giving full vent to the range of his desires and temptations that he denies by day. This is DT's modus operandi.

What irks DT is that unlike him, a shoot of his own family, Viplav goes after what is correct, regardless of societal consequences. Furthermore, he is not afraid of his desires and does not seek to deny them or project them on to others. For DT, this threatens to bring down the status-quo of double standards, which are currently practiced by people like himself. In addition to threatening the established hierarchies of caste and class, Viplav's ways come close to exposing him.

The group of widows form an interesting connection to this strange lineage of illicit desires, illegal relationships, and illegitimate offspring. The widows represent all that is inauspicious, and therefore should be hidden away and kept behind the scenes. Yet, the whole plot revolves around those dressed in white, which, interestingly, is a color that represents purity, spirituality, and knowledge. The more the widows occupy a central place in the narrative, the more nervous DT gets. The question is why? Is it just because widows are perceived as dangerous because they are single and not under the control of a patriarch? Or are there other reasons for DT's discomfort? Was Durga a widow that succumbed to DT's wily ways? Is there another aspect of DT's sordid past that we can look forward to being dredged? The plot thickens. Watch on.

Great analysis, Hammie! Love to read your take on the episodes! 👍🏼
The truth is Viplav fancies her ,and he is bold and boisterous in showing it too.. he is a good lad, trust worthy hard working and sensitive to others needs. He is strong enough to admit his botch ups and has no problems in making apologies about them. his manner in her ashram today was a mixed bag of tease, soft scoffs, and occasional brief glares.. the case he is beginning to fight is to get real Dhani spirit out! slowly.. he has already seen that there is a spark, a vitality, a hardy determination in her .. He wants her to share it with .. the world.. she is his woman in white whose being stirs his soul.. Viplav.. is this the truth??

Loved this bold part so much! It's exactly what I felt❤️
