"Present sir" came Raman's voice

Ishita smiles at Raman as he says this. She places her hand on top of his hand as a gesture of gratitude. Raman simply smiles back understanding her gesture.

They both turn to concentrate back on their lecture.

This was the daily routine. Everyday raman and Ishita used to sit together and the professor used to call their names together and Raman would answer always. Ishita would always acknowledge this gesture by her smile.

Now Raman and Ishita with few other friends of their where sitting in the cafeteria of the college.

Romi - Hey chotu 8 cups coffee lana.

Chotu - Ji bhai abhi laya..

Vandu - Yaar mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai, miku tumhe mere saath nachos khana hai tumhe pasand hai na..

Mihika - Haan yaar, Raman Ishu tum log bhi kahoge.

Raman looks at ishita who blinks her eyes saying no. She turn to mihika and refuses by nodding her head negatively.

Raman however, accepts mihika's offer.

When Mihika was ordering Raman looks once at ishita.

"Chotu ek chocolate fantasy cake le ana."

Chotu who was taking down the order wrote down raman's order as well.

Mihika - Aiyoo sorry ishu akka mein toh who order karna hi bhul gayi

Ishita just smile back and shrugs her hand telling no big D.

"Raman chahe koi bhi bhul jaye Ishu ke liye Choco fantasy order karna tum kabhi nahi bhulte na" Bala teased.

"Kya yaar, uske pasand ka cheez uskeliye order karne mein kya problem hai." Raman just replied.

And that is how the day went again like every other day. At the end of the day, ishita, vandita and mihika together said their good byes to their best friend and left to sit in the car. Romi and Raman where still busy talking to Bala..

"Uhmm..." Ishita nudged Mihika.

She signaled her to tell Raman and Romi to come soon so that they can go back.

Mihika "Haan ruk" "Raman Romi yaar kitna time lagate ho, jaldi chalo na.. Ishu akka ko Ghar mein kuch kaam hai.. aur mujhe bhi party mein jaana hai aaj mihir ke saath" she called them frustrated with their everday antics to make them late.

They came back and left back to go back home.

Raman and Romi were brothers where as Vandita, Ishita and Mihika were sisters.

These best friends were also neighbors.

Once they reached home, they went back to their respective house chattering loudly but two remained silent. Raman and Ishita were walking behind ever one holding hands.

"Acha ishu sun, aaj hume who project complete karna hai. Parson deadline hai toh its better we finish it today!'

Ishita questioned him asking what time.

Raman thought for a while and replied, 6:30 shuru karte hai, tumhe koi problem toh nahi?"

She shook her head telling no.

"Acha, now go and take rest. I'll meet you in the evening" he said pecking her forehead softly.

Ishita just smiled and kissed him back on his cheek.

Mihika, Vandita and Romi just smiled back looking at their interaction. They had tears in their eyes but chose not to show it to anyone. They then said their see you soon's to each other and walked back to their respective houses.
