Raman's heart felt a twinge. And he knew the reason for it. Ishita's tears. He knew she would be crying at that moment because this was something he is still trying change in her. The overwhelming feeling is something she is still trying to deal with and he knows she needs it to remove all her insecurities and accept his love whole heartdly.

He goes back to 40 days back..

Raman's POV

Okay I know by now ishu must have taken you guys back to 400 days back. The day I first met her. It is something which I cannot tell about because even if u listen u might just term it as pity for her. But I know its not. The moment shagun that day told me about ishita I dint feel hatred for her rather my determination to be her friend and respect for her increased. Why? I have no idea. She is beautiful inside out and her innocence is what actually made me want to be with her.

Well after that I stayed with her completely. My day started with her thoughts and ended with her thoughts. We spent most of our time together. Even our parents were happy to see ishita mingle so much with someone of her age. In fact, I am the first guy she actually is with. She never had any friend who was as close as me to her. And let me tell you I feel myself very lucky.

okay now back to what I was telling you guys. Ishita and I became so close that we couldn't imagine a day without each other. We were very happy with everything. However, in college I was always worried for her. Shagun, the name itself irritates me to the brink point. She never leaves a chance to mock and taunt ishita and come close to me. Well she is someone from whom ill always protect ishita.

Shagun had tried her level best to separate me and ishita but failed miserably always. The day I actually lost control over my anger and hatred for her is something which still sends chill down my spine.

It was an usual day with me and ishita sitting in class having fun and laughing about some matter. Suddenly a guy came and informed ishita that the dean was calling her to his office. Ishita and I were ready to go to the office when my phone rang. Well all this sounds so serialish I know but that's what happened to us and I told her to go ahead ill join her sometime. She nodded and walked away. The call I got was a blank call which I answered 3 times and got disconnected 3 times. After the 3^rd time I got frustrated and I decided to go and join back ishita. As I was about enter the elevator I saw the dean busy taking rounds near the examination hall. I ran towards him to inquire about ishita whether everything was alright. He gave that weird look of why I was asking him that all of a sudden. I gave him that confused look and told him about his call for ishita. He refused any such thing instantly and walked off for next inspection. And I knew that moment something was wrong. I ran everywhere in search of he. Cafe, grounds, library everywhere yet could not find her. I decided to ask vandu or miku but they also had not seen her.

I was scared, scared to death as the morning incident came to mind. That instant I knew what was wrong. Shagun's continuous smirk towards me and ishita in the morning was not something new but the look she gave was new. I couldn't place it then. But at that moment the first thing I needed to do was to find that bitch SHAGUN.

I went in search of her and found her in the caf laughing with her friends. I went to her pulled her by her arms and glared at her. My anger knew no bounds and I blasted her, questioned her asking about Ishita. And then seeing my anger she told me about her whereabouts.

I ran like I had no life. I was praying to every minute that she was okay. When I reached there what I saw killed me from inside. Shagun's friend Param was busy hovering over her trying to force on her. I don't even remember what happened after that because the only thing I remembered was ishita's tears and her unsounded voice asking for help. That was the time I cursed god for making her dumb. The next thing I remember is hugging ishita with param on the floor moaning. Her tears broke my heart badly, her state made me shiver. From then on I never left her side anytime. I knew that call was to separate me from ishita. No calls mattered to me from then on. She also clung to me every second and it took me almost 5 days to console her and gather her courage.

These 5 days I not only realized I cannot live without her I also realized I wanted to spend my whole life with her with my ishita, the love of my life.

The next day i.e, 35 days past today after college I took her to her favorite place and proposed her the way she had dreamt of. Well it was a very simple wish of her to be proposed in the middle of an island surrounded fully by water. Well staying in delhi I knew it was not possible. Hence, I found a small lake in the outskirts of delhi. Actually this place was found by a cousin of mine when we had gone trekking in the forest. So when the param incident happened I had brought her to this place so that she can relax and calm down a bit. She had instantly loved it and a smile had adorned her face giving it a glow which by now I had come to know of happiness.

This place was the most perfect place for proposing her and I did the same thing. She was very happy very very happy infact and when she was about to accept she stopped and my brows creased. Her face expression told me she was going to deny and I knew the reason as well. I did the first thing I had to do at that moment to assure her.

"Ishita, mein janta hun tum mana karne wale ho and mujhe reason bhi pata hai. Tum yeh kyun sochti ho ki tum mere zindagi mein aane se mera zindagi khatam ho gayega. Kabhi nahi ishu. Tum mere zindagi ho, tumhare man se pyaar kiya hai meine aur tumhare awaaz hone ya na hone se mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Kya hua agar tum bol nahi sakti ho mein tumhare man pad sakta hun. Tumhari aakhein mujhe who sab bata deti hai jo tum mujhe bolna chahti ho. Agaar... tum.. nahi rahogi toh ... Sh..shaayad mein mar jaunga mein jee nahi paunga tumhare bina please mana mat karo. Agar yeh sab sunne ke baad bhi tum mana karna chahti ho toh go ahead. Mein tumhare intezaar zindagi bar karne ke liye tayaar hun. Tum jitna waqt chahe le sakte ho".

The tears which made their way from my eyes where the sincerity of each and every word I spoke.

And the next moment she was in my arms. I had got her acceptance and that will remain the best day of my life. I kissed her with all the love I could pour out to her. She reciprocated the same love back to me. From then on till now I have never missed an opportunity to take those sweet petals all for myself.

Raman came out of the thoughts chuckling about the last words. He made his way to his balcony waiting for his love to come and join him. Ishita comes out of the balcony after calming herself down because she knows raman would have guessed by now that she was crying and would be waiting for her.

Raman sees ishita and smiles at her. Ishita comes to him and hugs him warmly taking all the warmth he can give her.

Author's note:(By the way had I mentioned their balconies are connected now).

Are you fine now?' he asked placing a peck on her hair.

Hmm' was all she said and closed her eyes.

Raman sat down on the swing taking ishita with him and made her sleep leaning on him placing her head on his shoulders. Raman also closed his eyes placing his head on ishita's head.

And this was how Vandita found them the next morning!!!!
