Ishita was sitting on he window slab and staring out. Tears drenched her face.

Ishita's POV

Should I feel the luckiest girl or should she feel that god has been unfair to her. She dint know but one thing she knew was she could give up anything till he was with her.

Wait guys don't you all want to know why I am feeling this!!

Okay let me take you guys 35 days back actually 400 days back!

I was one of those girls who no boy would want to be near. Okay its not that I am not beautiful or something, its just I am not a normal girl. I am normal I mean I don't live my life like all the girls i.e. chatter boxes. Okay I know you guys have already guessed it from my present that yes I am dumb. Well they say u become deaf and dumb together but I think god was not so unfair also. Hence, he gave me the ability to hear.

Okay so let me continue.

It was the first day of the college. Not that I am new I have been studying here but it was the first day of new semester.

As usual I went to the college with my sisters.

I went and sat down on the bench in the garden in the college. Well since Mihika and vandu akka had a boy friend I preferred staying by myself giving them the privacy.

Not that they ask. Its just my thing you see.

Well you must be wondering why I don't have a boyfriend. Haha I don't think any boy would wanna be my boyfriend but as I said earlier no one would want a girl who is dumb.

So when I was sitting in the garden I saw a guy who sit near me. And I lost it. I stared back in his eyes. I felt like I was drowning but hey I should not have thought all that. I should not dream all this. I should not get myself attacted to any guy in such a way. But I couldn't control myself . all I wanted at that moment was to just get lost in those eyes. He was handsome.. wait that is also an understatement. I had never seen anyone as beautiful as him.I noticed even he was staring at me with that boyish smile anyone would die for.

That smile captured my mind and yes since then I am fan of his boyish smile.

Oh ya I forgot to tell you guys about his cute dimples. Hehe hey stop dreaming about it u guys that dimple king is taken. But ya that dimples are to die for. I am a die-hard fan of it!

Okay so lets continue with the story, as I stared back at him he forwarded his hand.

Hey, I'm Raman, Raman Kumar Bhalla. You can call me RKB'

I just lifted my hand and waved at him slowly as I brought myself back from the trance.

I think Raman thought I was shy and hence dint inquire about why I dint say my name or why I just waved back.

He just continue, I am new here. I mean I just came to delhi. In fact I am your new nrighbour as well. I saw you from my balcony today and then again I saw you in here. So I thought I should introduce my self."

I just smiled back to him.

And that's how our friendship started. I really mean it we became friends. Yes, he got to know about me being dumb that very second when he told me about him being my nighbour. The thing that happened is

"So what stream are you in here? I am studying MBA here and you?' he asked.

This time I was about to remove the paper to write and tell him when Shagun all of a sudden popped in.

What shall I say about shagun. She is really pretty but she is jealous of me because im more prettier. Im not being smug or mean or praising myself but that's the truth. However, at that time I never thought that way.

So she entered and being the queen shagun she started taunting me.

"Oh hi handsome, looks like your new here. Well I am shagun, Shagun Arora." She said forwarding her hand to Raman.

Raman just smiled and forwarded his hand, Hi I am Raman Raman Bhalla".

"And yes I am new here. Just shifted to delhi"

Shagun again started her mean attitude, Oh! That's why you don't know. Well She is Ishita and she is dumb. I mean she cannot speak."

Raman had that shock expression on his face. However, he covered it up immediately. Well I am sorry ishita.. I dint know that and I was asking you for answers.." he fumbled with his words showing genuine regret.

I was used to Shagun being mean and picking up on my disability always so I just shrugged it off. However, his emotion did grip me. I signaled him saying its alright.

I took out a book which I keep to explain people when they don't understand what I signal.

Hey raman,

I am ishita. Ishita Iyer. Really nice to know you are my neighbor. So you are Toshi aunty's son. That's really cool. And also study MBA here same class as urs I guess. And you don't need to feel sorry. You dint know so its really okay! Don't worry.

Raman when he read this smiled back at me and again forwarded his hands.

"So, friends?'

I was hesitant at first. I just looked at shagun once who stood their annoyed and shocked.

"Friends!' seeing this shagun had walked off.

So this is how we became friends and it continued for a long time this way. He answering for me everyday in the attendance time, ordering for me in the canteen, anything and everything he did for me.

Many girls were jealous of me because he spent most of his time with me. He did not leave me even for a second when in college. And as you know he is super handsome girls tried falling themselves on him. He used to brush them off. Soon the news started spreading that he and me are dating. Well it was bound to happen. But only the ones close to us ie Romi being raman's brother, sarika romi's girl friend, vandu akka, bala jiju, Mihir and Mihika knew and understood mine and raman's friendship. Yes I did have an attraction to him.. but hey I am also a normal girl like all others and I am allowed to have crushes..

I never dared to tell that to Raman. I dint know what he thinks of me and dint want to lose Raman's friendship. I am now also completely dependent on him. I am addicted to him. If I lose him then I might not live. I will die without him.

Ishita is brought back out from her self thought when amma for. Brushing her tears away which had made way from her eyes she moved towards the hall thanking god for giving her the greatest gift of her life, her love
