Hamari Adhuri Kahani had a poor first day grossing in the 5 crore nett region. The film did better in mass centres while the metros were very low as Jurassic Park was first choice and Dil Dhadakne Do continued to do well in metros.

The film has had better collections than Jurassic World in the Hindi film markets but when the South India collections come in for Jurassic World bit films will be similar and if South strong then Hollywood film may even edge past.

Hamari Adhuri Kahani had best business in the Gujarat Saurashtra belt. The opening is also better than the other recent Emraan Hashmi starrers but that's not important as opening is still low and the growth has to big on Saturday.

- The movie's budget is almost 20crores so there is no chance of it being a flop..it can earn 20 crores almost in the a week so its not a Hamari Adhuri Kamayi

20 Crs? do those actors work for free?

Amyways, ye rona-dhona.. flesh back story was never gonna work. This is 2015.

The wierdest thing of promotion was VB was going on so many tv soaps as a character of the movie to just intervene and lecture all things abt love. It was total turn off. Keep ur maha gyan abt love to urself lady, was the kind of feeling. 😆

So much for brand Mohit Suri😆

EV with wooden actors got much better reviews in comparison😲.Only Raja Sen trashed it.Masand/Omar gave 3 stars..Komal,BH,TOI and rest gave 4/4..

HAK had best actors of BW,original script by Mahesh Bhatt,above average music,decent promotions,MS's lucky charm Hashmi still 5Cr❓ 🤔

So chemistry b/w leads,respective fan following,youthful appeal do matter...in case of Suri movies ie😛😛😛

I'm to be fair the promos to EV looked wayyy better, it was suspenseful. You didn't knw the story, after watching the film yea I was disappointed. While HAK looked weird and overdramatic. I might check it out when its on tv or whatever but not spending money on that, the songs I actually felt were under avg.

I feel like they didn't really promote this much. I barely saw Emraan anywhere. Vidya and Mohit did a few interviews here and there. After Mr. X Mahesh Bhatt was basically blaming the marketing company for not promoting that movie well and even implied that he would oversea the promotion of HAK. Well, sounds like he doesn't know how to promote either. HAK probably would have never been another A2 or EV but at least with more aggressive promotions it could have still been a hit.
