That's not a fair statement to make. I think we asked very legitimate questions here. In situation where people's ethnicity is asked in forms those are optional. But when a judge asks you what your ethnicity or origins are do you really have the option of not answering? Name, father's name, age, are part of your identity. I'm not sure how your caste is. Or rather I don't think it should be. But if it truly is in the Indian legal system then I don't understand it, and I'll leave it at that.
I have filled so many forms in India and NZ. Those r optional questions.. for the purpose of surveys and totally confidential. Unless the pwerson wanna make it public like in this case here.
Judge will only ask u if u DID put that in the form.. meaning he wanna go thru the formalilty as if u r the same person or not. and if not, then why? Its a serious stuff. U can be caught for a fraud if u answer wrong. Like if I say "Pakistani" in stead of "Indian" here, they will have 4 hours interview with me. If I wrote 'Brahmin" and said in interview that "I m BC"... they will recheck how did i get degree? in reservations or on merit?
Those relatively simple cases, but this one is not. So if Salman thought, caste= religion.. and he said Hindu and muslim.. so be it. Judge had to just confirm it.
Therez no rasism or castism here. Gosh, if he was asked r u a male or female? and he said both. 😆
Google baba will die if everybody puts a tape on their fingers.. and mouths. Nobody will know how many ppl died in Nepal.. or anything.
The irony is, how did this headline came up? 😆 Simple question, good answer, nothing recorded officially, so who lwaked it or for what purpose?
Why I said IF ppl dumb.. coz they sense PR in everything. But.. something so obvious dont strike their minds. And yes.. I m dumbest of the lot. so dont worry.
