None of us are awing Salman, at least I'm not. Did PR blow this out of proportion? Possibly. How accurate this news is, god knows.

My only concern is that asking about CASTE AND RELIGION is not mandatory in court proceedings. Salman should have just said "PREFER NOT TO ANSWER"

Hell it's not like the judge didn't know Salman's name, his father's name, and their religion/caste. If the judge didn't ask about religion but asked about CASTE then that's even MORE IRRELEVANT. 👏

During Air Flight, they ask you if you are hindu, muslim, jain, etc because they have to serve you the food according to your culture. If you don't want to answer, don't but then don't freak out if you get lamb when you were suppose to get cheese and crackers.

Why are they asking about caste here? Are they serving him biryani after the trial and they want to know if Mr. Salman Khan would prefer mutton biryani and veggie biryani?

Bottom line is Some questions aren't required to be asked and we as citizens have the right to say "do not prefer to answer" - We are not entitled to answer what questions our beliefs.

In serious court case, its imp. to ask the same questions.. for formality. If salman gave blank in caste or religion dotted lines.. he wud be asked the question.. just to make sure he is the same salman.

Doctores asks the questions. Its a formality. Serious the case, more carefully it needs to be handled.

Coz we dont want tomorrow's headlines that salman was drugged and intoxicuted and couldnt even passed the formal questions and was brought on to court. Well, he can play MJ wearing hostipal pajamas..

there r so many tricks to play. Keep watching.

Its relevant coz what kind of food they will be served in jail. 😆 Its also abt survey, the numbers of particlaur crimes in particular community for govt. to focus on and do something abt it.

As some1 said, its also abt in court to bring out their religious book to swear on "jo bhi kahunga sach kahunga, sach ke siva kuch nahi kahunga".

There r shitload of details court wanna know which may be totally irrelevant to us, but its a part of process. Its also abt presence of mind at the time person being recorded for a statement. They can even ask u what day and date is today.

I dont know whats this hungama abt it here... oh I get it. Coz it was leaked to media and thats what the lawyers r hoping for. Give it a communal twist. And its working already. 👎🏼 Geez!
