The thing is.. this is an Indian forum and we mostly discuss topics related to India.. so the word "Indian" comes naturally. I don't frequent the Pak section of this forum, but I assume, on that section no one starts the "Indian men" talks there. "Indian men" "Sri Lankan men" comments are generalizations.. those aren't facts. Besides we don't know where the commenter resides... sometimes we like to criticize the behavior of our own countrymen. That's why I was saying not all "Indian men/women" comments should be taken seriously.

And I'd like to leave the thread now as I don't have anything else to say.

This thread has crossed the limits of tolerance... I have reported it..and so have others..no action.

But if I were to reply with links to news articles that shatter some people's holier than thou image... or talk of child grooming gangs and crimes perpetrated elsewhere by non Indians, then I am sure that the thread will be locked in no time and I will receive "pyar bhara PMs".

i dont think so mods will take any action🥱they are not realiZing that this forum is becoming highly suffocating .Now we cant even discuss indian issues in this forum..as now we knows the reality of some members...who will be interested to discuss sensitive issuses with those people who only read selective news about india.??..why should i discuss our issues with those people who wants india to become like west and those people who can bash indians for bashing their actors but we cant say any world against their so called paki superstars...🥱

I can give you links of articles on IF that have anti India comments. Most of these are from esteemed neighbours, NRIs and other foreigners. India bashing and appeasement of other countries seems to be bread and butter of "India" Forums.

If you talk of India centric topics you get told to make threads yourselves or hope if designated team has interest in it. Threads on India won't be GAed if the team feels they are unfair to other countries.

Change name to global forum then if India bashing gets free pass and there is reluctance to put up topics celebrating India and its achievements!

This is India Forum just for a name..
But actually it's a celebrity forum. Where you can praise the celebrities of world and if you criticize their actions then you will get a warning or ban..
Apart from that..you are free to criticize anything..
Either it's Indian culture, Indian men, Indian women or Indian mentality..
You are free to criticize them. You will never get a warning for this..
I have been noticing for the past one year that pakistani people are criticizing us in pak serials forum and zindagi channel's forum but who cares ??
It's a celebrity forum after all.. The owner of this site has to impress the celebs through celeb rankings and appreciation threads to get more interviews of them..in short more advertisement and money.
So who cares for our country..
Neither moderators nor vijay bhattar..

Dear All,

Well Moderators are also members and they may have their own POV. If we start picking up on every sentence a moderator writes and make it a huge deal is a bit unfair.

And just cause I am saying something contrary to someone and trying to make a point why is it being tagged as defensive and without merits.

One can interpret the following sentence in many ways:

Its called virtual world for a reason ...it has nothing to do with real ground reality :)

I would like to believe that the member means that many a times what is perceived on-line is not always the ground reality. And sometimes there are sustained campaign of misinformation done to make others believe that it is the only truth.

I do not understand why this debate is getting stretched when no one is agreeing that its right to bash or make broad generalizations in a demeaning way against any country.

However I would like to ask should we encourage or ban topics which raises some valid points:

For some these can be India Bashing and for some they are some hard points which we feel should change.

Doing a moderators job is already a tough one and it becomes worse when all their actions starts getting questioned. If they step in and moderate they become someone who is stiffling members voice and if they dont they are not doing enough. I hope you understand not all issues are black and white and can differ person to person.

Since its a huge forum and sometimes we may have missed a abusive/distasteful comment and when its brought to our moderators notice we do take care of the same.

Earnest request to all, please do not get personal while discussing such issues. If members feel their request has not been handled well by the Moderator or is still pending even after giving reasonable period of time to respond please contact the Channel Moderator or the GM via PM.
