Would love to see stories that go beyond big families, loads of relatives, pallus, mangalsutras and do have a definite end.

That at least have a story. Problem is that such stories tend to become bigger than themselves and get stretched by the channels.

This was the case of that Ram Kapoor - Sakshi Tanwar serial. Started out so well and then the rubber in the band would not give way how much ever one stretched it. One fine day, instead of breaking, it just melted and went away...
