FAWAD WON'T GET PHYSICAL

Keeping his countrymen's sensibilities in mind, the Pakistani actor has asked the makers of his next film to tone down an intimate scene between him and Alia Bhatt.
Fawad Khan is in demand in Bollywood after Khubsoorat but the handsome Pakistani import is taking his time before giving his nod to projects. So far he's only said yes to Reema Kagti's next with Priyanka Chopra and Shakun Batra's love triangle with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. The latter revolves around two brothers who fall in love with the same girl.
Mirror (February 21) had earlier reported that Sidharth and Alia, who are dating in real life, have an intense lovemaking scene in the film being produced by Karan Johar, which goes way beyond the kiss they shared in their debut production, Student of the Year. Now we have learnt that Fawad and Alia too will film a steamy scene for the film. And it has been giving the actor some sleepless nights.
Says a source close to the production, "Fawad is not comfortable with the idea of getting physical in reel life.
Even in his TV shows, Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which are romantic family dramas, there's no kissing or touching involved. The sex is implied. Both his leading ladies get pregnant, though they only drink chai. Fawad is extremely sensitive to the sensibilities of his conservative countrymen and has told Shakun and Karan to water down the scene, to rely on allusion rather than actual action. And during his next visit to Mumbai they will sit down and work together on the scene to ensure that it does not spark off any controversy later."
The film rolls in April and has Rishi Kapoor in the role of the boys' grandfather who turns mediator when things gets sticky between the trio.
