They did say he would fall in love with her and if that's true then you can't lie to the person you love and care about forever.. It would be better if he tells her himself rather than her learning the truth elsewhere.. Even if she is angry at him at least she would know that he truly loves her enough to let her go..

Love...
Infatuation...
Isn't there a difference?
Someone will teach him.

Well if he actually loves her then it would supersede his obsession for this mission and Shashi Kapoor.. But that only happens when you truly love someone and are not just infatuated with that person. Hence it could make him tell her the truth that is if he actually falls in love with her not infatuated with her

As the word goes, a man looks a woman like his mom aur yahan pe to banda is pining for long gone mother (dead/lost?) Missing mom/strained relationship with dad - there is a back story there if only it is explored well.

It is not necessary that his mom is from India. Her family could be in India before partition and they moved to Pakistan but kept their way of living alive. Same can justify Jannat's different style of cooking as well. Maybe, she learned from an older relative who had roots in India, Shaad thinks.

But as he gets suspicious, I have a strong feeling that he will try to look for her family. Did anyone report her missing? But, he won't find anyone, as there is no one in Pakistan who knows Jannat. And, he has no way of knowing that she is an Indian. Then, the boy who is missing his mother, getting smitten by the woman who has walked in his life, will go ahead to make her his own because as she says she has no one but him. Whether he succeeds or not that is to be seen...

Varun has expressive face but stiff body language. Phir bhi for the first show the guy is pretty good. It's a delight to watch him...

And, I ended up writing about too many things not directly related to the topic 😳
