It seems Shaad's mom is probably Indian as they showed him recalling how his mom explained that the food she cooks for him is Indian and that hardly anyone there cooks such food..its gonna be interesting to watch how his story unfolds..

I agree...when I saw the scene, I got a feeling that she is Indian too. Which makes him a dual citizen, explains how he can stay in India now. 😉

He definitely could if his mom was alive and as he would be blood related to her, he could apply for citizenship or get the visa permit. Then again, Qh doesn't exactly follow laws. Or medicine or common logic.

I don't think India does but he is also an army major searching for a terrorist and helping the Indian army..so he may get the citizenship due to that.

Just waiting to learn more about him and guess what it turns out that misbah is Shashi Kapoor according to the rumors.. I really wonder how it's possible coz she was raised by Shaad's family and what kind of grudge did she harbor against him prior to Jannat introduction..
